What?! I can't think a keeper is good 2 years ago and think he's poor now? :56: It's hardly suddenly is it? It's 2 years not 2 weeks mate.

You're in the minority defending him, isn't that saying something? Seems it's only the 'Holy Goalie' worshippers that are doing so.

Bit of a contradiction is it not mate? Great keepers don't make many mistakes.

I don't want to back a keeper who lets the side down and can't even keep his weight to a reasonable level when he's supposed to an athlete!!

I'v backed him long enough, and it hit me that he frankly doesn't deserve the praise he's been getting for so long, I myself used to love the whole 'Holy Goalie' thing, and he used to be one of my favourite players...but that was when he was a cracking keeper, and he simply isn't that anymore, so I feel he shouldn't be in the squad and Zaluska should be given his chance.

It's got to the point where I'm actually surprised if he pulls of a decent save.

Making mistakes is one thing but being fat is another. Borucs form is been shocking for a while now, it would be much easier to back someone who looks as if he's trying to improve (ie. get in the shape a proffesional footballer should be).

Boruc has became complacent, he's out of shape and making mistakes and he's getting punted back in goals when he's half fit, when Zaluska was performing well and in shape. What signals does that send out to Boruc. That he can make as many game costing mistakes and be as fat as he likes?

He tried to take on a St.Johnstone player with some fancy footwork and * it right up, the fans start chanting his name like he's some sort of hero. It's crazy, the man can be as unfit as he likes and make as many fumbles as he likes - he needs a spell on the bench and a boot up the * from the fans.

We've been backing Boruc for too long now, we can back Boruc forever - the fact is Boruc is not trying to be the best he can be for the club, he would have at least got back into shape.

you are wrong there mate, not worshipers just believing in Arthur as the best guy for the job, and zaluska ain't done enough for me to be convinced, and should zaluska come into the team he would be coming into a team, that would have been better, than the teams Arthur is been judged on

We're going round in circles here.

Too sum up i want him dropped, I don't want rid of him (or punted) I want to see zaluska in goals to see what he's made of, the way i see it boruc is well out of form (and has been all season) so there has got to be a point where having let him play all season out of form where you decide to bring in another very able keeper who is sitting twidling his thumbs on the sideline.

Evryone who has the hump about this thread has to understand we are only saying brouc should be dropped for his own good mabye if we put him on the bench then mabye when he gets his chance down the line he'll be in better shape/form

He is definatly not the same class as he was a couple of years ago, and I don't think Zaluska has went to CP to sit on the bench for more than a season, get a feeling Artur will be going in the summer.

get used to it Arthur, is still the best and if the team improves Arthur will be able to relax more less stress, good defenders make good keepers he has to be given a chance as 2 years ago the team was also playing better, as you say so point took
better the team no problem from arthur

The thing is mate, even if our team was playing fantastic - this doesn't take away the facts:

Boruc is fat, resulting in his reflexes being alot slower - he's been fat for a while and doesn't look as if he's working hard to shift the weight.

His distribution is terrible, even with a solid defence he's still going to have to distribute the ball.

He's complacent with the fact he can make as many mistakes as he wants and be as out of shape as he wants, he still recieves very little criticism.

again you judge him with out seening him play with better players as i think the team has improved since Keane arrival and i have only your word as to zaluska been better than arthur or be giving the chance why take the risk the management don't think its necessary. only you because you think he is not conforming to your interpretation of how he should look if zaluska comes on and lets in 4 needless goals are you going to reward us all by saying made a mistake lads, there is two chances, less chance and no chance has zaluska got unless he is doing it in training.

What!? Don't know what point you're trying to make here mate, It's a given that we would concede less goals if he had a better defence around him, but we're talking about his individual performance, and it's just been abysmal recently in all honestly.

if the team in front of him is good enough then we're no longer judging his performance. with a good enough team in front, i think i'd have a go in goal myself and i think i'd do ok

Artur's certainly not in his best form, but I think there have been signs of it returning. That reaction save from young Thompson's header a couple games ago was nice. I'm willing to give someone with so much Celtic equity some time to sort it out.

that is the talking point in all teams when your winning, you never count the missed chances, again you still say he is slow to react but are willing to let anyone in goal only to satisfy your assumption of the guy. we done without zaluska for 6 months and let him play for united, and we still put 3 passed him correct, and did other teams in the league now add up them goals up , and see what your account has to say
