If Boruc noises up the Rangers fans at the end of the month, he'll be fans favourite again and it will make up for all the points he's cost us this season. Players are judged on how they are performing, not how they have performed. Example of this is Lee Naylor.

Hope he does Metroboy although I don't think Artur has had a good Rangers game since the Dec 2006 one at Ibrox.

Boruc needs a kick up the * - this would be achieved by dropping him. I know I'd drop him.

His head's clearly not in the right place, if he's bored of the SPL then he should just * say so and get the * out.

When Brown came in for him he didn't make one mistake. Boruc is guaranteed to make at least half a dozen real clangers a season, drop corsses, come for things he shouldn't come for (St Mirren match he could have been sent off and today Fletcher should have scored because of Boruc's brainfart), etc.

If Strachan had any bottle he'd drop him.

He needs to concentrate on his own game rather than winding the rangers fans up or else he will be winding us up instead.

Agreed. but Boruc is also guaranteed to make at least half a dozen game winning saves. it's a huge risk dropping someone so talented.

I honestly don't know what I'd do. Maybe drop him for the next game, just to let him know performances like these are an embarrassment and will not be tolerated.

The way I see it is he's still the world class goalkeeper he always was and the best Celtic have ever had.

The problem just now is the leniency he's been shown, that all the best players get given to an extent, is hampering him.

He may very well be good enough to play for any side in Europe but he's not bigger than Celtic.

*, everytime I read one of your posts it's exactly what I'm thinking too.

I wonder if handing him the captaincy last year wouldn't have forced him to mature and take this all more seriously? That would've been a big risk of course, but *.
Something needs to be done on this, and even though sitting him a game or two might give him a good shock... I can't see it fixing the problem permanently.

Boruc is a flawed genius, and I can't see him ever recovering his halycon days again with us. His clanger today cost us the game, and he has had a lot of clangers recently. I would punt him in January

i think WGS has to have a word with Boruc, too many times he is making mistakes, i disagree 100% that we should get rid of him in jan tho, but i would drop him, may be the kick up the * he needs, maybe hes getting too cocky in thinking that he's too good, look at mcgeady, after the huns game he got dropped for 4/5 games, why cant WGS drop boruc aswell, When brown came in for him he made some good saves and never really made a mistake, also if he was put in goals, he would know that it was a chance to try and take No.1 from boruc, coz unless Boruc gets injured or suspended then i cant see WGS givin Brown a run in the team

    Hail Hail

We should bring in another keeper in January and make Boruc have to work for his #1 spot.

Bring in a player in January.. that was a good one, eh!

Just seen it again, he just looked embarrassed for his own ego. Doesn't give a * we're throwing away our gap.

He's been very average this season and error prone.

Plain and Simple, he needs to be dropped until he gets himself together.

Strange - Boruc being solid was one of the main things we could really rely on last season.
That and for Skippy to get the goals.

We don't have any degree of certainty about either now.

It was just a mistake, I think that this alone will give him the kick up the * everyone seems to think he needs. Dropping him with the ego he has will be detrimental to his celtic career imo. The difference with McGeady is that WGS new it would re vitalise him I dont belive this would have the same effect on the holy Goalie. I say keep him playing and with games his form will come as is the case with alot of keepers.
