I think Artur should be paying Celtic 700,000 pounds for his poor form over the past 2 years , If its true then it shows what a mercenary he is .

 

Depends whather any like that is included as part of his contract really. otherwise he can't ask for nothing. He should waive it anyway having served well but never had teams come in for him where he has has a choice of staying and being loyal or jumping ship.

probably some clause that was added to his last contract to get him to re-sign as he was a hot ticket then and worth lot more than what we got for him.

but if the overall figures are true the £4.5m thats being quoted here if he gets even 750k loyalty bonus pay or whatever thats still aprofit of £3.75m sounds much better to my ears than the measly £1.7m that was previosly quoted!!!

 

If he wants that kind of money he should have stayed on for another year, left us on a free and got a signing on bonus.

Love the big man and end of an era but im not too unhappy about it. He was going stale, didnt seem to have the same motivation and his performances dipped.

No doubt Boruc at his best is better than Zaluska but if big Artur stayed another 3 years for example, do i think he'd be much better than Zaluska for us over that period? Probably not.

Think people get clouded a bit bacause of his cult status off the pitch. On pure performanxes, how good has he been the last couple of years. Take the money while we can. Still thanks for the memories, and u'l always be loved.

As for Fiorentina, i think good enough choice. Although not as good as what it was, Serie A is still a good league and Fiorentina a good team in it. Also Florence, Tuscany is a lovely place to live so if i was him, i totally understand move

This just leads to players being determined to stay until we can't make any money from them. They can just hold us to ransom on there last year just like boruc is doing now.

 

No surprise to see fans turning on boruc based on tabloid rumour. We slate papers day in day out but instantly jump on a good players back when they print something we don't like.
