Lucasz Zaluska is a competent replacement for Artur, and if there is any validity in this rumour I wish him well.

 

Something you heard? Well I heard we are getting £30 million for samaras plus Torres from liverpool. I also heard that David Villa is a huge celtic fan and wants to join us once his contract at barcelona finishes.

 

Well something like this could defo happen, especially with the comments made at the Q and A, so if it's not Fiorentina it's most likely going to be someone. Would be sad to see the Holy Goalie go.

Aye the big man is off , he cant give him the same wages he is on in a new deal and he wants to leave , 12months to go on his contract 3million would be fantastic deal if we can get it ,

Will be sad to see the big man go but Celtic goes on we did after Larsson and we will after Boruc , we should have sold him after the euro's for the 10million back then ,

Oh. I am gloating so hard right now, just after me posting a gossip thread of this, people were like "yeah, then that means I heard David Villa is a huge Celtic fan and wants to join" and also people trying to take the * and saying to me "tell your friend to shut his hole and stop talking *" just because he told me. Artur Boruc could be on his way to Fiorentina in a deal worth £3million.
The Italians have made an offer and if Boruc can agree terms it is believed Celtic would be willing to let him go.
The 30-year-old Pole was once valued at £9m and he also became a fans' favourite but his form has dipped in recent seasons and it's no secret Celtic would not be unhappy to see him leave.
There are those within Parkhead who regard Boruc, who has been at the centre of a string of controversial incidents, as more trouble than he is worth and they'd like to see the back of him.
If Boruc does finally go manager Neil Lennon - who will lead his squad into North America on Monday for a hectic four-match, four-city tour - would be left with two keepers, Lukasz Zaluska and Dominic Cervi.
Joe Ledley might not make the flight to America although it will be a surprise if the Wales star doesn't catch up at some point on their tour.
He agreed terms with the SPL side and also completed his medical before returning to Cardiff to tie up loose ends at home but he will start the new season as a Celtic player.
Celtic, who are still waiting to hear if Sol Campbell wants to join them, are keeping tabs on Preston stopper Sean St Ledger.
They tried to sign the Irishman last January when they offered £2.25m plus and although the deal didn't go through he remains a target.
US World Cup centre-back Oguchi Onyewu - under contract at AC Milan - is another on Celtic's radar but everything depends on Campbell.

I won't be sorry to see him go anymore and 3mil ain't a bad price. He's gone off the boil and his personal life and unusual character (which I loved as much as anyone in the beginning) have become problematic and has evidently impacted his game.

I doubt he can recapture his form here, but he should with a fresh challenge and team.

Good luck to him if he goes, we had a few great years and he's one of the characters that will always be remembered. People will look back in years to come and remember him with fondness.

 

Boruc is 3 times the keeper zaluska is, and cervi even worse, can't believe we want rid of him

Plus zaluska isn't anywhere near good enough to be our keeper
