people need to stop sayin Zaluska is *. Yeh, St Mirren was a bad night for him, but do I really have to say the bad games Boruc has had aswell. Zaluska is capable and if Lennon didn't think he was then he will get someone in who is

Also about that night for Zaluska, if the players in front of him are *, what chance does he have ? (Am unsure as to whether he was to blame for any of the goals btw)

McGeady at LB though ? Hardly suitable protection

yeah i know,he played more but to me people on here are remembering the boruc pre Euro 2008, rather than the extremely average one after that, and zaluska was good last season but yet people have been saying hes *,and i just think "based on what"?

 

I am gutted, Boruc was easily one of the best keepers we have had in about 15 years, and I am shocked if we did sell him for the reported 1.6million, we could easily have got a few mill more. It was only a couple of seasons ago that he was in the £10mill region.

I will truley miss the big guy at Parkhead and I wish him all the best for the future. Zaluska is definitely capable of taking the no. 1 shirt, but we do need to get in another quality keeper this summer.

 

Difnt want this to happen. Zaluzka is no where near as good as artur.

most likely scenario is, he didnt want to sign a new deal that is less than what he is earning, so celtic thought sell him while we can and offload the hefty wages along with it, just a guess tho

 

give zaluzka a chance theres bigger players that have left the club we will survive hes been a great player but nothing lasts forever TAL

 

This is not a surprise, as anyone could see this coming. I wish Artur all the best and have very fond memories of him, but the last two years or so I would rather forget.Boruc seemed to go downhill imo after losing that overhead kick goal by Ehiogu against Rangers.It seemed to dent his confidence, and he was never quite the same again.

Anyway we have Zaluska for goal now, and Cervi as good back up.

i would rather have kept him for next season at least to get the title back he has been a great player for the club and id rather have got one more year than 2million euros for him
