    zenden keeps himself in equally as good shape as giggsy, i see no reason why he couldnt still perform for us. he wouldnt start every week but hes another option and id rather play him at LM than make joe ledley go out there.

    He provides cover for CAM/LM-RM/CM And LB and the sunderland fans seem to think he still has it so I don't see why not tbh...

    He'll also give us an older head in the dressing room.

    ...Why the * not? Give him until the end of the season at least! I remember when I'd first heard of him at the '98 World Cup. Put in a good shift against Brazil in the semi, if I recall. He's been playing at a decent level, so I think he deserves a chance.

    to start with i was not for him joining but few days have passed and i think it may work for us , also he may ask his best pal seedorf if he wants to come , can you imagine clarence in a tic top , that guy can play till he is 40 easily !

    Seen him a good few times last season and lets just say he's no Ljungberg, the guy can definitely still play.

    Saying that though I'm not all that keen on this. Would rather see Paddy get a bit more game time.
