The poor form that * us was in December when Artur was out and Caldwell was playing at right back. Up until then we were doing OK in the League. Injuries played a big part in other areas of the season. When JVOH was out we struggled to find a partner for Skippy, when Naka was out we lacked the creativity and goals from midfield and also a balance in our play. The midfield has been all over the place at times but thats due to lack of quality cover when these injuries arrive. I fully expect us to get back on track and play far better now with a proper right back that will help Naka. Maylor can support McGeady or switch them if it suits. In the middle it would have to be Broony and Hartley for me. With Jan and Skip up front we cant go wrong. The only area that needs addressing is Micks partner as is being discussed. At full strength we will be fine.

Nobodys denying we havent had injuries particularly in the full back areas, but we are a big club and we should have a big enough squad to cope with these problems.A quality CB,and LB cover should have been bought in the summer.Anyone could see that.

Absoloutly agree. We also needed a DM leader type in the middle of the park.

    Got to keep the faith!
The board and wgs have already shown their intent early in the transfer window, lets hope we see it from the guys on the park.

I agree, apparently we have one of the biggest squads we've ever had, yet there is a severe lack of quality when any "first choice" players are out.

It could be argued we have a lack of quality when they are all fit.

And we have real shortages in some positions and a surfeit in others.

There are plenty of guys who would do a great job. However i would like to see Tony Mowbary given a chance.
