Board Statement

Yeah there certainly seemed a change in tune after Thursday, think part of it was to counter the "disgrace" shouts from the other side and also to try and show an appreciation for Thursday night.

That combined with the weather may very well have turned a few off. Let's not pretend, there is a * load of fickle fans who change their tune on a game by game basis and think everything is back to normal because of one game, that will have seen a few decide not to show up as well.

But a good turn out all considered, and looks like it has went down with no issues. Await and see how it gets painted and responded by the club.

 

There you go Lennon, they have shown support for the team. Less of his disregarding comments now to the fans, please.

Does anyone else that was there today not think the police presence was OTT. Loads of vans parked on London Road, mounted police waiting just behind the Jock Stein Stand, a massive big police van parked behind the Emirate's and, to sum it all off, a police helicopter flying overhead. You'd have thought they were expecting a full scale riot. Loved the wee placards the guys were handing out and will keep it as a memento.

 

Might not have been dancing but certainly was moving about to keep warm. Miserable day but worth it if it effects change.

Fair play to those that turned up,but clapping the players on the bus?not for me, they deserve nothing but dogs abuse.They are part of the reason we are where we are and if the board are to be criticised then so should lenny and the players.
