I don't think it matters what Mowbray say's if the board get a crazy offer i think he will be sold. Don't get me wrong i would be gutted if we sold him but i don't think this years finacial results will be as good reading as last year and imo thats all that matters to this board.

I actually can. I think McGeady would be brilliant alongside Ferguson and McFadden.

I have heard McLeish being touted for Liverpool too. Birmingham are a club that are on the up and up, and are currently joint seventh in the EPL alongside Liverpool.

If McLeish manages to get Aiden and say Kris Boyd who knows how far they may climb.

I don't see Birmingham struggling at all next year. Big Eck has been promised a £40M War Chest by Birmingham's new president Carson Yueng.

Boyd would not score at EPL level - I think he's proved that enough times mate. Aiden would be great for them, really dont want it to happen.

As someone said in another post, say we get £14 million for him, most of that money we will never see - becuase we will not get champions league money next season, due to not being able to win the league without Aiden. Could we win the league without McGeady or a good enough replacement? I think not. He creates everything we do.

I expect that this £14M will be a "£14M package", i.e. McGeady's wages over the length of contract offered will be included within that figure.

Personally, if we can agree anything over 10M as a fee i'd snap it up, simply because how often can we say that McGeady has been in a consistant rich vien of form? other than recently, was his player of the year reward two seasons ago.

I simply can't forget all the frustration that Aiden has brought to us, now that he'* a purple patch and is being talked about being sold for way more than he's worth, I say we cash in while he'* some form.

Doesn't matter what the board accept for him from whoever, if he doesn't want to go, then he doesn't need to accept their contract ! So at the end of the day, its down to Aiden. Can't see him going anywhere near Birmingham ! As for someone saying he would be average in the EPL, really ? Seemed to drift through Arsenal's midfield and defence with no probs in the CL as i remember ! Even Wenger commented on him.

I remember when we played barcelona . Puyol said he was the best winger he had come up against.

I don't disagree that he is a fine dribbler of the ball but that's of no use when you cant shoot, or put a good ball in.
That said, he is a major improvement this season.

Yeah i know mate. But my point was that if a player like Puyol says stuff like that and he is up against decent players every week. Then we should expect atleast 10-15 million
