Would prefer him to Doyle but that goes without saying.

Wouldn't be totally against it if he's cheap and were bringing someone else in. In all honesty though I would prefer to just sign 1 quality striker.

I'd take him for 1-2 million, knows were the net is and finds it on a regular basis, also take a good penalty which is something we have lacked for years now and likes to link up well with the midfield and attackers really looking forward to this signing hope it comes true

Sign him up, what's the point in bidding for someone from a * league like the eredivisie when we can get a cheap player who is on the books of a team in the BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD. Pull the finger out Lenny.

I'd quite like a Lamborghini Gallardo but if I cant get one then a Hyundai Getz will do.

mcdonald wasn't exactly a lambo but he scored in Europe. To carry on your car analogy as long as your motor gets you from a to b, what does it matter? likewise as long as your centre forward scores goals what does it matter how he does it?

Put Sharp in a team that is going to consecutively make chances and he would score for fun up here....would obviously prefer Alfie but Sharp is a good player. Given the chance up here I reckon he could be our top scorer with ease

For me he'd be a very good replacement for Hooper, as he's not going to dazzle you with tricks and flair, but he's got a natural ability to finish.
Keep him fit, and Id back him go score at least 15-20 goals for us in the league. Could be out of his depth at CL level though

He hasn't got the link up play that Hooper had.

One of the biggest myths in Celtic's history is that Hooper was simply a poacher.

Sharp is simply a poacher and won't offer much more than being an option inside the penalty box.

What I was trying to say is there's a big gap in quality between Finbo and Sharp if we miss out on Finbo i'd like to see us go for someone better and a little younger than Sharp.

I'm sure Sharp would score around 15-20 goals a season in the SPL, but I think he'd be waaaay out of his depths in the CL.

Lets face it, we've won the league already - no ones capable of putting up a decent challenge therefore whats the point in signing someone who will score in the SPL but not in the CL? when we already have players that will do that.

Either buy someone with the quality to cause teams problems in Europe or sign nobody and just play Watt, Stokes , Amido and Atajic.
