 Probably true with season tickets as likely they don’t have the season ticket culture we do here. Would doubt we get more on average at home games than the Milan clubs, Napoli etc though.

Just can't see where the incentive is to pay for a season book to watch us struggle against European opposition, with a squad lacking in real quality. And if, as someone touched on earlier, our away games are becoming less exciting to attend then that's another reason not to renew.

I think we will sell a similar number of ST next year as we did this time around to be honest. How do you know we are going to struggle against European opposition next year? That is total guesswork, and nobody will know if this is going to be the case until after they have renewed their book. We might repeat what we did last year in the Champions League and reach the last 16.

You are only taking negatives into consideration.

This year, Inter Milan have averaged 47,250, Napoli have averaged 42,873, and AC Milan have averaged 39,717. That is the top 3 in Italy.

Last season, Inter Milan had the highest average attendance with 46,551

If say, we lose VVD and don't spend a decent amount replacing him, people might think we are going to get done in the CL like we did this season. And that's the only reason for getting one now going by the amount of ST holders who turn up every week.

Won't be as low as I said but can see it going down a fair chunk from this season.

If they put the prices back up then there will be a significant decrease. I think we could still get at least 35-40k season ticket holders next season if the prices remain the same, which they should.

 Don’t think they’ll go back up the £100 that was given as a one-off gesture this season but they’ll go up in increments, perhaps £40 increase season on season.

Back the team, invest in our future and the clincher.....Faithful Thru and Thru!

If we sell Van Dijk, I think we will struggle. We really struggled this season after selling Hooper and Wanyama, just can't see how, without a decent bit of investment and keeping hold of just about all our decent players, we will manage to compete. Of course it's guesswork but the whole situation of talking season ticket numbers at this stage is.

I hope we do sign some quality, the board admit they * up and allow the GB back as a group and attendances increase but can't see it.

I don't see us selling Van Dijk this year to be honest. Not when we have only just signed him, and it's a 4 year deal. We won't be under any pressure to sell him come the summer.

Football today does not include the package for supporters,we are now suffering from the money men/business men at the top who were never on the terraces or recognise what the actual support means/gives and stands for..
We are following on behind the many hundreds of soulless clubs around Europe..

Thing is, this year I don't think we have seen a single game where the crowd was absolutely buzzing by our usual high standards. We couldn't sell out a must win game to qualify for the champions league. And the games against Barca, Ajax, and Milan just didn't seem as electric as usual. Sure the atmospheres were good, and perhaps we are expecting too much based on our history, but I really didn't think they were all that. I am sure there were far better atmospheres in Europe this year than at Celtic park.

The CL atmospheres were alright this year, just seem * because the results were poor so we won't look back on them with positive memories. Forrest's winner was utter pandemonium, up there with Watt vs Barca I think - although I wasn't at Paradise for that one.

The Ajax game was a cracking atmosphere as well because there was real feistyness in the air, was the first bit of bad blood since Rangers died and I have to say it was really exciting not just having everyone come and love us, taking pics and videos of YNWA and that.

So, to that extent, we are all glory supporters. I don't know a club in the world who sings louder when they're losing than when they're winning.
Although we did sing loud when Broony got sent off and Barca beat us.

As I said mate,on our day we are unrivalled..I'd say in my opinion but that wouldn't be true as greats from all over the globe who've played everywhere and won everything there is to win have said the same thing,aswell as fans from all over..

I haven't been up lately so can't get the feel for it other than how it comes across on the telly but as the others have said the shaktar game was immense and then after that I'd have to say the defiance and roars when we'd gone down to ten against barca and were 1 down was absolute class aswell..
Actually had people who were watching it down here (non celtic fans) saying how good they thought it was..

Agreed especially at the minute it's one of the worst I've known it and coming for the match day experience and atmosphere domestically is something I wouldn't advise for visitors at home games..

Again though big games bring the best out of our support and it shows..

I remember the time we sang YNWA to the Barca fans out of respect to the train bombings, that was single most hair raising moment I have experienced it was beautiful.

Life and football seems to have changed since then, moods are low, money becoming more and more prominent by the day in football and in life, MONEY is killing not just football but life.

People assume that but if you actually watch the Italian League the crowds are terrible. Out all the Leagues I watch quite regularly the Italian, Russian and Brazilian Leagues are empty looking.

Only Napoli and Inter average over 40,000 in Serie A. Inter probably only averaging 47,000 because they've already had 3 of their biggest home games Juventus, AC Milan and Roma.

I think the cheapest Celtic season ticket is £380 which is dearer than the cheapest season ticket of any team in Spain, Germany or Italy.

You can get an AC Milan season ticket for £133, Napoli for £228, Lazio for £183, Inter for £332, Juventus for £291, Roma for £150 or Fiorentina for £158.

Apart from Juventus who charge similar for all tickets, you can get cheap seat tickets at all the other Serie A clubs for between £8-16. I think the cheapest Celtic ticket is like £26.

You could go to Parma, Lazio and Fiorentina home games, buy the cheap seat tickets and it would only be £30 £8 for Parma and £11 each for Lazio and Fiorentina.

Germany is even cheaper, the cheap seats range from £6-13. Dearest are Dortmund at £13 cheapest Werder Bremen at £6.
