It was a toss-up between the two welshmen for me, but I chose John.

 

big bad john for me cos i think he is * quality, me having my hartson blinkers on tho

 

My favourite is John Hartson. However i think Scott Mcdonald has the potential to be scoring a lot more than Hartson did so i've voted Scott.

 

BBJ or aliadiere, who to chose

 

Aliadiere and Camara won't be getting too many votes

I'd have voted for Skippy but he's only been her a season and I think John contributed more to Celtic (as he was here much longer).

 

Chris Sutton. What a player he was.

 

Sutton for me, done so much more than score goals.

Sutton for me, the guy was class all over.

 

The vote is on a knife-edge between the two big guys Sutty & BBJ. I voted for Sutton, was a * of a player for us. Master at holding the ball up and was the "better" partner for Henrik. I always thought Henrik played better alongside Sutton than he did with Hartson as his partner.

 

Sutton the guy was just a class player.

 

suttons hold up play was peerless.....big bad john just steals it for his goals in vigo and liverpool....priceless.

The guy was a legend and true to his word. Attitude, aggression, ability and a will to win Sutton’s presence on a football pitch lifted all around him the guy was infectious pure class.<o></o>

Some of the others contributed and had qualiy no doubt but for me Sutton wins by a country mile.<o></o>

either Sutton or BBJ liked both of them, although they both had different strong points to their games.

skippy very close to a mix of both but has only had one season so abit unfair to say him?
jvoh, MASSIVELY underrated - but in their primes i'd still take bbj or sutton
bellamy, brilliant but not here long enough to claim a title like that.

what is the question exactly?

immense he was ,kenny dalglish said of him ,he is a great allrounder ,and actually thought that sutton was better at centre half ,he did a couple of times at celtic ,then midfield ,but upfront he was brilliant ,his awareness of his partner was allways spot on , he made alan shearer the player he was ,they 2 gelled brilliantly ,and of course ,him and henrik were magic ,im not sure what his strike rate was like at celtic ,he wasnt as prolific as a goal scorer as hartson ,so on that i went for hartson ,but footballer chris sutton was a perfect foil for any partner he had ,and as a all rounder ,theres not many who could do what he could,
