    Hate to * on everyone's parade... But has any of the signings actually been bad? Folk are down on Mulgrew, but given the shuffling going on with our defence it's hard to see anyone settling in straight away, so maybe with time he'll be solid too! That applies to all the defence! Midfield looks to be well the strongest in the league in flashes, and that hasn't gelled properly yet either... Strikers need a bit of time to properly let loose... Forster is young but progressing nicely, and needs the experience somewhere... And lets be honest there too... Although we're bigger than newcastle, the EPL is far too harsh a training ground to bleed a young keeper, and this is a solid move to bring him on if he's got the skills for the top levels... Just worried we'll bleed him; only to lose him back to the geordies!
    So, in my opinion we're a bit away from being able to say anything bout any of the signings yet... My gut says Hooper, my brain favours Juarez... Time will tell!

    thus far i would go with Juarez seeing as he's had the most appearences and been the most consistent.

    Ledley hasn't impressed me to be honest, just been average so far. Put it this way - is McGeady a £10M rated player? ( tin of worms opened )

    Hoping Cha Du Ri can brush up on his defensive skills and him and Izaguirre could be real finds for us in the full back positions :rolleyes:

    If Maj stop the rot at the back then it is job done for nothing.

    I think if any of the free transfers like ledley or majstorovic turn out to be good then I think it has to go down as a better option than spending money on someone.

    I feel that people are saying Ledley based on his profile and the media surrounding him before his signing. I like the look of Kayal so far for value, but too early.

    Juarez seems to be a real class player, but I think Stokes will be our primary goal scorer this season so I'm going to have to go with him... He wasn't ridiculously priced for a striker with a good SPL record, either.
