With CCV already sorted too, would be as good a start to window as we've had in ages.

    Exciting times! :ange:

Would make sense. 19 now so should be seeing first team football at a reasonable level.

I feel like it was either this or Jota but not both.

Delighted. Will be a very able number 2 and will keep Hart on his toes. Plus any huns I’ve heard were convinced he was going to be their new number 1. He’s now our back up.

    Levels.

Good back up, people wanted him in last summer as number 1 which I think shows how strong we are in a position we have lacked for years

Don’t think Jota would make a good keeper so the right choice was made.

Earn Harts spot but yes, of course. He would worse than useless to us if he didn’t think he could come here and take the jersey.

Great signing and understudy to Hart.

30 is relatively young for a GK so there’s an opportunity for him to make a claim for the No.1 jersey in time.

Signing a GK at 30 is essentially like signing an outfield player at 26/27 these days.

    Nice one….

just need Jota on the dotted line to keep our ‘standing still’ run going…

    No brainer.

And he’s actually good enough to push Hart, which Hart will love too.

Superb signing! Will push Hart much more than Bain and Barkas. Can’t bet your house on the fact he was the Huns no.1 target to replace the Beast and we wont need to watch him pull off miracle performance after miracle performance against us next season

    * * he speaks so well. You can just tell he has the right personality that Ange wants in a player.

He's a step up from Barkas and Bain and is free. An improvement in the squad. He's a terrific keeper on his day and I can only remember him having one iffy game against us in the last however many years he's been at Utd. In fact, that game was the only game where I've seen him have a below average game. He's a pretty consistent keeper and I feel like it's another bit of shrewd business.

Can hardly say this excites me, but he's an improvement on Barky. Welcome big man.
