All action when he's in there. Played like a bit of a leader tonight..

Needs to sort some of that finishing out though, he'd be on for the golden boot if he was half clinical ffs

 

Yeah, if he could shoot we'd have a serious player on our hands. He has that knack for getting into the right areas and peeling off markers though.

Fancy him to score Sunday.

 

Thought he was brilliant tonight.

 

Hes brilliant man. Once he gains confidence with his finishing hes gonna break records. Man gets about 30 open goals a game

 

Martin should be straight on the phone to Henrik and get him over here to mentor Nygren for a week on finishing. Gets himself in all the right places but * me his composure in front of goal leaves alot to be desired. Was better tonight though, setup suited him and Engels better for sure.

MON set up the team and played Nygren as we fans would want and it worked to perfection.

 

100% a 20-30 goal player when he's in the 10.

 

Mental that fans can see this as clear as day, yet a so called elite manager getting paid 60 grand a week couldn't.

 

He wanted to prove his point in playing him in the wrong position unfortunately.

 

He's such a goal threat and can see a pass...once he relaxes a wee bit in front of goal then he'll make up a large chunk of the goals missing from the players we've sold recently.

 

It's classic player fit a system rather than system fit a player.

 

His movement and ability to find space around the box is very good, if he can start putting more of his chances he’ll easily score 20+ a season. I don’t think we’ve seen even half of what he’s capable of yet.

 

Might sound a little bit ego but i can't resist. I am so proud of Swedish players coming to Celtic. We have the same mindset as you guys and really care about the club. I love that connection and that it is deeply rooted into the culture of the club to have Swedes playing for the club.

Really annoying me the pelters he's getting atm, he is the only player who both creates and gets in finishing areas. Yes he may not score most of them but he never hides and he also completely forgets his mistakes and goes again. His numbers will be ridiculous when everything clicks one game/run of form. Proper Celtic player.

 

He's going to be something completely different for them to handle...I'm really confident in him having a massive impact on the game.

 

His finishing is painful at times but he'll get bags of goals for us. Clear as day he's a number 10.

 

I don't think I've ever seen a player find himself in goal scoring positions so many times. It's actually incredible. He will hit some big numbers this season & if he can brush up on his shooting they could be crazy high. The role we gave him last night was tailor made for him.
