The experiment of playing him out wide needs to end … it’s incredible that we’re a day or 2 away from the window shutting and barely have any wingers who can stretch a game bar Maeda

 

Infuriates me how he holds onto the ball for so long.

He's painfully slow. Never, ever a winger.

 

I had high hopes but fk me he does look average at times.

 

He's so bad. If he plays out wide, he has no pace to do anything. If he plays in the middle, he ghosts the 95% of the match. What is his strength? Physically and technically he just isn't good. Popping up occasionally to apply a simple finish is about it and that just isn't enough

 

Weds to release the ball quicker and not be on the wings , think he would be better suited to a 4231 where he doesn’t have to do as much going backwards and can pick up in the little pockets

Poor today and played out wide because yet again we're playing matches without an adequate squad. But even then he was so poor.

 

He’s never a winger but it’s not his fault we’ve * about for 2 months ignoring what we need so as a result has to go and play there, despite not having any of the attributes required to do it.

 

Just think he likes more time on the ball which he won't get. Needs time to adapt and if he does he will be fine.

The way our game is at the moment encourages slow play

 

He looks levels below Matt O'Riley unfortunately. You can tell he has some quality on the ball but he is so weak and slow. Falls over far too much.

Looks like a £2m punt at the moment.

 

In the pressure games so far he’s been miles off it. McCowan and Bernardo should be playing.

 

Defensively doesn't work on the wing either. Hard to know how he fits into the team.
