Feels like a mixture of him not being used correctly and not yet fully understanding his role within the structure but in terms of ability he’ll be a good player for us without a doubt.

Some * needs to have a word with him and tell him to stop waving his arms at the crowd every 30 seconds when we get a corner I find that toe curling.

He’s not got to grips with where and when he’s meant to be in certain positions plus looked like he was just trying to force too many passes. He should be shooting far more often.

I think its clear he's a player, but he was poor tonight.

Needs to play RW next week, he's not the quickest but its better than starting Forrest or Yang there.

TBH I don't think it will make any difference if we play him RW next week, he's been anonymous since he arrived, far too passive as far as I am concerned, does not take a game by the scruff of the neck.

I would lean towards playing Yamada on the right, because at least I would expect him to get wired right in, with pace to burn.

Don’t think he’s on the same wavelength as the rest of the midfield yet.

Hes got quality so I’m sure that will come, but it showed tonight.

Poor last night but he’s just not on the same wavelength as others have mentioned. He has ability. His corners are * though, so floaty.

I've seen zero from him that makes me think he's better than mccowan. Same average vibes I got from nawrocki, abildgaard, haksabanovic Palma etc

Willing to give him a break. Much like other players and as Rodgers is saying, we work with what we have here.

I think he's better than he's showing so far in the competitive games. But he's not the game changer we thought he was gonna be, not yet.

Think we all had hopes on an impact like Rogic and MOR had, but he seems a lot more steady/safe than those two. A bit of jack of all sort of player.

The issue with that is, so are the other 5 players competing in that midfield.

Not many, if any of our midfielders stand out as being able to do something that the others can't to offer a role the others can't, to cement their position when the others can't.
Nygren is just another in that line of hatate, Bernardo Engels, similar types
