Jesus man, the balance we have in midfield. And they aren’t fully clicked and cohesive yet.

The quick one twos and movement and effortless, knowledge of where the others are is a work in progress.

The balance between Hatate and Nygren choosing times to support in the 8, then the 10 that is natural. Calmac feeds them as he always does, but it’s noticeable he has choose times to just drive in there. And Hatate has filled, Nygren has filled.

He has that end product and smart passing, he moves into space at the right times. And he does it in the opposite direction, defends the passing lanes, works, tackles, harries. I love him

 

….. AND….. he’s not even a midfielder, he’s a right winger/striker!

 

The best way to explain his "real" position is that the position is similar to how Forsberg played for Leipzig. Officially a RW but more centrally so basically a right CAM

 

When Engels came on for Forrest, did Nygren go wide(r) right?

 

He played right aye, picking out a nice assist for Hatate

 

Quality player. Reminds me of when we got his countryman Lustig. Good shout for POTY I’d say.

 

Its important we dont get carried away too early.

He certainly looks a pler, but important to be aware of expectations.
Weve had players who looked like they were going to kill it and then fall off a cliff form wise.
Weve had players whose form is patchy and frustrating.

Very hopeful for the lad. But not putting any expectations on him. Especially given the state of the squad right now.

He's not really doing it for me either.

 

I must admit I thought we were getting a far better player than what he’s shown so far. Obviously needs time but like everyone else that was * tonight

 

Pish tonight but surrounded, largely, by dross.

Seen enough to know he’s a player.

 

He’s the level we bought him for. Totally uninspiring and offers very little. His set pieces are dire.

 

He was hopeless tonight but the team is so full of * it’s hard to be overly critical based off tonight.

 

Needs to be quicker and move it quicker..

His floating corners are to easy for the keepers and defence, as soon as Engels went on corners they were much better,whipped into the same area at pace!

 

He's a good player but he's pretty slow and his corners were *.
