Nygren should absolutely start at Pittordrie, what did Engels do that was in any way better?

 

Nygren was anonymous against St.Mirren, that was one of the reasons we struggled, maybe not on the same wavelength yet and he didn't look quite up to speed yet either. Engels showed a lot more of aggression and intent when he came on as a substitute.

I think he will start against Aberdeen.

 

Ok. That's not what I saw at all, but it's all about opinions.
With Nygren I saw a very steady league debut full.of intelligent movement and positive forward passing that admittedly tailed off badly 2nd half as he got tired.
With Engels I saw lots of endeavour against a tiring St Mirren - but nothing decisive or creative at all - what did I miss?

 

Didnt give the ball away or run into an area could t get out of was more direct corners were better also

Big mans a player..

Just needs to move it a touch quicker but he'll get up to the speed of it here no problem..

He’s slotted in so easily, has livened up our right side so quickly and he looked good off the wing as well if needed.
