    Think the games against rangers this season has probably forced rodgers into a rethink , 4231gives us a bit more assurance at the back , expect AJ and tierney to swap defending duties like the way lustig and tierney used to do , if ones forward the other one holds back and tucks in. Think Engels would flourish in a 4231 also, I hope they have an established number 9 and not a makeshift like maeda unless they think the Swedish boy will be able to thread passes through to maedas runs

    Yeah think you’re right, AJ has played CB for Canada too similar to what KT has with Scotland so they’re definitely both capable of sitting in there

    These things always take a bit of time I think we've probably learned that by now. It takes about 4 or 5 days for us to sort out the social media by the looks of it.

    What is there to be sorted? Graphic editing is easy nowadays. The only thing taking a wee bit of time is the initial interview.

    I was kinda being tongue in cheek.

    The point is, I think we've all had enough experience to know the club often take their time with these things. Added to the fact that getting medicals arranged, contracts signed, lawyers, agents, clubs etc all sorted inside 7 days can be challenging. And the player being on holiday.

    People forget it took a while for us to move quicker with ange. And even then it was really only near the end of the summer window and we had the advantage of the Japanese season having ended when we got Maeda and Hatate so it was easier to tie up.

    I'm not concerned. The window opened yesterday people need to chill:giggle1:.

    End of June players come back I think.

    There has been a major breakthrough in Celtic’s pursuit of Benji Nygren, it is understood.
    The Swedish playmaker, 23, is a wanted man in Glasgow as we told you first after the Hoops made an official approach for permission to speak with Nygren.
    The Danish giants granted that permission and we told you how FCN were then awaiting the outcome of conversations between Celts and Nygren's camp before discussing a price.
    Now we can reveal that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs and it is understood to be worth around €2million, or £1.7m.
    One well-placed source has confirmed that it is just the finer details now being discussed between Celtic and Nygren's representatives.
    Those talks are all that stands in the way of a transfer being concluded before the beginning of the new season.
    Nygren is a capable wide player and striker but he found most of his success with FCN playing in the No.10 position.
    We told you how both clubs always felt a deal would be done and that the fee would not be an issue. And that has proven to be the case.
    Nygren had six months left on his deal at Nordsjaelland and the club were under no pressure to sell despite the alternative which would have meant losing him for free.

    Where I think he would be a good player there, he barely played there last year for Nordsjaelland, he drifts inside a lot and played like an inside forward off the right handside for most of last season with a couple of games more as an 8 when they lost a couple of players in January and occasionally even as a false 9, so I suppose you could call that role like a 10 but largely off the right.

    I actually think watching him, he is very good in either wide right or a more central role.
