Looks like a good signing in what is clearly an area of need for us this summer. 16 goals in 32 games for his club and breaking into the national team last season looks very promising.

I'm feeling Ecstasy about this one. Can't wait to see him in hoops, for now I'll absorb, maybe watch a youtube video of his skills. We go for top players and get them bargain cheap, the bhoy had options but there's only one place to be really.

An excellent signing on paper and a really good bit of business by us.
Said in another thread, if he had even just 2 years on his contract, I think they'd be demanding around £8 million minimum for him.
Be interesting to see if he plays on the wings for us or through the middle. -
Aye it looks like we've got a * of a bargain here because of his contract situation, like when we grabbed O'Riley got him at a similar price because he'd negotiated a release cluase with MK Dons when he joined, the teams down south that were watching him at the time would have thought nothing of * away £5-10m and outbid us if not for that.HTG likes this.

Most notable thing is that he looks like a great passer and has a good eye for a through ball. Mostly left footed but can use his right. Hope he does well.
