As we all know we are invincible domestically , 59 games unbeaten is a tremendous achievement and losing to 2 of the best and richest teams in world football doesn't take anything away from that

Until a domestic team beats us, i'll carry on calling us the Invincibles, not very often we'll get to say that so might as well make the most of it!

There's a good reason why these Bayern/PSG players cost a few bob, they can make the opposition look foolish and ordinary, their movement and speed of thought is on another level.

thought we tried to play like a counter-attacking team. Roberts especially in the first half should probably have just retained possession further up the pitch rather than running at 2/3 men. The ball was just coming back at us too quickly and we never settled into any passing rhythm. Just let Bayern get behind the ball and be patient. I know that is not so easy either but just thought we should have slowed the game sometimes.

Thought we were awful for the most part. Didn't think Bayern really came out of 2nd gear. We just seem to freeze up a bit.

    Ntcham was awful again.

Just cannot take to Ntcham at all; start of the season i thought we had a player and a half but he’s so lacklustre it hurts - it’s like watching Strachan persevere with Sno again!

Think the midfield was pivotal in last seasons domestic white wash, and really think we miss the Brown, Armstrong, McGregor connection.

It’s sorta hard to moan about the result when you remind yourself of who you were playing but I really think Celtic are kinda shitebagy in Europe, don’t know why we don’t play our usual pass and move/ high press game.

I think we can but we need to have a bit more confidence in our style of play and the way we play football.

Today we looked like rabbits in the headlights.

Without offering it as an excuse it was a bad time to play them with the new or should I say old manager back in place, I didn't enjoy watching that at all from the second goal onwards although we certainly looked better when the subs came on it was more or less going through the motions for Bayern.

I also agree the second game will be very tough again but maybe try something different like Dembele or Forrest starting, no reflection on Griffiths just a case of trying something different.

We all know the drill, it's harder now than ever to beat these top teams and any good results gained against them for clubs like Celtic will be less frequent now than ever before but not out of the question, Bayern are a very good team but PSG were another level or 2 higher still.

There was definitely a deflating and frustrating feeling watching that tonight but also an inevitable one regarding the result, but this is a team who over the years consistently beat out of sight the cream of the EPL and La Liga

Most of us have this in perspective and are fully aware of the gulf but it still doesn't make watching the games easier, now we know how it must feel being a Killie or Hamilton fan coming to Parkhead twice a season.

Think most people on here felt Ntcham was the next big thing for us but so far im not seeing it.
Wouldnt be to hard on any of the guys tonight we were just up against a class team but Ntcham really needs to prove his worth otherwise stick him on the bench for a while ,that might be the kick up the hole he needs,

After last few games can't see why he gets in front of Rogic or McGregor. Did think he looked good when I first saw him. Could pick a pass certainly and spread the ball. Not seen him doing that for a while.

Cant see us getting anything at home against them.
They made us look very ordinary tonight and i believe if they needed to they could have upped the gears and scored more against us.
While we were poor tonight, against a team of Bayern calibre i don,t think we will improve enough to turns things around against them.

I'm not fully convinced by him myself yet but many great Celtic players have taken much longer than the 4 months he's been with us to make a big mark, I'm hopeful he can do the same

I just feel with all the build up and press talk, we go into these games not fully believing we can even compete with rich teams like this. Far far too much respect before even a ball is kicked and it is even more glaring when watching the games. Standing off teams like Bayern/PSG and admiring them is never going to turn out well. The fact all 3 goals came from crossed balls is also disappointing as those should be defended. Its sickening that cash rules so easily over hard work, determination and organisation in today's football at this elite level. The gulf between the top 15/16 teams in Europe and the rest is truly depressing. The thing is, we have had worse teams under Lennon and Strachan who have battled successfully against the better players and teams of their eras. I think we can definitely do damage in the Europa but we all want to be competitive in this competition.

I know it's a lot of conditions, but if we played the entire game like the second half, had a proper back four without improvised CBs, and had prepared a more defensive formation and strategy rather than just the same as usual, we could have gotten a draw today.

Losing to Bayern is normal, but we can do better with our squad, and even better with our budget.
