Haha, I don't know enough about DDV to be confident on a keeper pick yet. I would hope he was a step up from Gordon but he looked a little shakey against Aberdeen.

I'd find a place for Roberts next week. He showed in the friendly against them that he is capable of carrying the ball forward for us. That is crucial in my opinion as any opportunity we have to take pressure off the defence we need to take. If we surrender possession as easily as we did away in Israel be prepared for a cuffing.

Can't see rogic having the legs for two intense games in a short period of time maybe Roberts in the middle for this game

I'm glad it's after the hun game because our confidence going into the barca game will be higher.

Hoping for a very tight game up until 10 minutes to go, then we attack.

I am going for a 1-0 win, with Dembele scoring in the last minute.

IF - big IF - the defence is on-point, I'll say a goalless draw.

Hopefully we keep the score line respectable. A draw would be one of our best European results in the last 10 years. I know we've got a lot of the ' happy to be there ' brigade on here, but watching Celtic getting passed off the park and beaten 4 or 5 nil, is not my idea of entertainment.

I meant 10 men behind the ball and then counter attack with pace, not just stay there and try and nick a 0-0.

I was 50/50 between him and Sinclair for that but opted for Sinclair for experience and just how much he panned his * in, in Israel.

Aye totally agree, Sinclair was probably one of the only out ball that night, and as you said he was tireless and no doubt helped the defence get a breather aswell

I also don't want to see that although I'm alot less upset and angry loosing that to barca than loosing 1 or 2 to a Scottish team.

A draw would be utterly fantastic. When's the last time barca never won there opening game at home though?

They drew 2-2 at home to AC Milan in their opening game back in the 2011-12 season - 5 years ago. Since then, they've won all of their opening games home or away until last year when they drew 1-1 away to Roma in the opening game.

So yeah, they've got a pretty impressive record in the opening game. We will be beaten pretty comfortably most likely, but I suppose we can hope for the best. Hopefully it's not a 6-1 or similar like a couple of years back.

Although remember we were moments away from getting a point at the Nou Camp with Kelvin Wilson and Efe * Ambrose at the back in the last 16 season...so it's possible.

Absolutely mate, but it's never fun to see Celtic get trounced and made to look like a wee diddy team infront of a worldwide audience. I wouldn't be as worried if we went and bought a quality defensive midfielder who could help protect the defence but that's another story. I will say I expect Man city and the Germans to be well beaten leaving Nou Camp also. It's at home I want us to really show what we can do and show pride in the badge and once again show that no matter how big a team you are, you don't fancy an away tie at Celtic Park.

I wouldn't be too disheartened with a similar scoreline to our friendly. Was a decent performance and 2 goals in it..

Need a Barry Robson type performance in the middle of the park.

Is the game not on ITV too? Maybe just England- but I am sure I seen an advert for it on telly at the weekend?
