Barca, Milan & Ajax

I wonder if lateral movement will be a big concern at these games :smiley-laughing002:

 

I don't really know what people were hoping for in the Champions League, there isn't one easy group in there. I'm a bit gutted to be facing Barca and Milan again, would have liked somebody we haven't seen for a long time, but you get what you get and have to deal with that.

Group B, I think it was, with Real and Gala, that was the one I was desperate to avoid.

 

Let's see, we're around Ajax's level I'd guess..... Milan aren't THAT good and we beat Barcelona last year, I honestly think people are going way too over the top about this.

 

Well that settles it. Might as well not turn up bhoys we're going to get pumped rotten.

People are being arrogant to think we are entitled to get through the group stage we lost to Shakhter Karagandy the first game teams like Austria Wien and even the czech and romanian team would see us as on their level. A group with Barca Milan and Ajax are going to be fantastic games. Better than the likes of Inverness on a rainy day.

 

To be honest I'm less upset about the thinking we're going to lose thing than the fact that I feel like I've seen Barca and Milan a million times. Ajax will be interesting. I think we should aim for 7 points which would, historically speaking, easily be good enough for Europa. And if we can get 10 like last year then * great! I'm very excited... I think we match up well to both Barca and Ajax. Quite worried about how physical and technical Milan are though.

 

Think I'm gunna go to barca away. Not a bad trip to burst my away European cherry!

 

What a terrible draw, only good thing is Ajax who we havent played for about 13 years, Barca and Milan its getting a bit boring seeing the same teams in europe. I always enjoyed European football in the past as you mostly saw new teams but come on Milan and Barca again!!!

 

Balotelli and El Shaarawy will be a handful

Milan won`t know what * hit them

 

We could do with a couple of quality signings and from there anything could happen, Barca will probably top the group but it's an open field from there I'd say, Milan being favourites to nick second.

 

Beat barca again... That'll show the hun * who keep saying it was luck! Plus with big crazy Sammy we cant loose. Celtic 4-1 barca

I can't wait for these games. Four historic clubs with real tradition in one group. I loving it. Lets take them all on ! Hail Hail.

 

Really tough draw but all the same was said last year and look what happened. I'm just happy we are in the competition again to be honest.

 

Ajax arent that good, definetly not any better than us. Different in that they pass and move better but their players arent the best.

McGeady absolutley destroyed Daley Blind, their left back a couple of years ago for Spartak. Forrest could tan him. Samaras V Van Rhijn, again he could roast him.

They are likely to lose Alderweireld and Eriksen, their best midfielder and defender.

They could obviously beat us home and away too but we could do them. They arent better than Benfica or Spartak.
