    2. He says 'sidewalk' and not PAVEMENT. The *.

Problem is his videos are now resulting in people getting fines.

He submits them to RoadSafe and has gloated about it resulting in £30/£60 fines for 'offenders'.

He's become an extension of the council and is abusing it to target people.

Normally never have trouble with drivers. I cycle by the rules, don't cut red lights, (unless going left) don't go on the pavement, don't cut through pedestrians and signal drivers when i'm turning or slowing. But i have had my first bad experience a few days ago. Was turning a corner on a one way back road. Car comes flying from behind and he was driving right up to the curb on the left. Squeezed me out and i flipped over my handle bars. My ankle was in a bad state. He shortly stopped opened his window and shouted ''Get the * off the road you *'' and drove off. Only had the bike a month and all and have had to leave it into the shop for a few days. Gearings in bits now and pedals cracked. Could have been a lot worse so i guess i'm lucky.

As a driver they can be quite annoying.

Looking at it objectively though, the country should be doing far more to encourage people to use their bikes in favour of cars. Healthy, better for the environment and less traffic congestion. They really need a much better infrastructure of cycle lanes to make it a viable option for most.

I agree with above post if cycle lanes were introduced then it would be Ideal.......On a personal point of view I find them a pain in the * especially on a sunday morning when i am taking weans to football and they double up on road having a wee chit chat with there pal while the traffic is backing up

Saw one on saturday skipping up onto the pavement to get round the red light at roadworks. I was working at the time so when i clocked him doing this i placed my wee postie cart in the middle of the pavement when i stopped at someones house. He wasn't impressed that i'd blocked his path and i got swore at for it :smiley-laughing002:
    *.

I like cycling but i never go on the main roads. I'd feel like a * with a queue of traffic behind me. Usually just stick to the cycle tracks or quieter roads round when i have to.

dont care what anyone says, there's no excuse for going on roads when there's a perfectly good footpath, it's the safest option for everyone involved

    * annoying, anywhere else in Europe cycling on the roads isn't a big deal but in Britain everyone thinks they own the road and no other * is allowed on it
