I wish Billy McNeil would keep is mouth shut. He's embarrassing us again. Just because he is a legend doesn't mean he can hit out with some of the * he does.

I'd go 451 on thursday with Sammy up front. I agree this is his kind of game. I think he could be a great player in Spain, Italy, Portugal etc. But he loves it here and you have to respect that.

Spanish & Italian leagues have just started and Atletico lost on Sunday so I'm hopeful we can get something out of this game.

Nothing to lose and everyone is expecting a landslide victory for Atletico.

I think we should go all out and get ourselves right in the faces of Madrid, with a little bit of unexpected early pressure I think we may be able to break their defence.

Yeah 4-0 to A Madrid if we don't keep this tight at the start- need to keep clean sheet until at least 60th min- then we may have a wee chance.

Think I can mind a few good games in Europe from Sammy? His one against Villareal was great.

I would play him, just so our key players are not risked for the Huns game.

He also missed a sitter that night. Was clear through in goal and tried to go with outside of his left foot instead of burryin the ball with his right.

I would like to get a draw, but Lennon lives in a dream world where he thinks that he can line out in some brazilian esque all out attack formation which inlcudes the full backs. celtic have been torn assunder by arsenal, braga, utrecht, sion in the past, not all lennon's reign I know, but lessons need to be learned, get a draw and at least get a draw or hopefully win at home. celtic have been given a 2nd chance lets get off to a positive start. a defensive 4-5-1

    Forster
Matthews K.Wilson Mulgrew M.Wilson(is he fit?stick Rogne in the middle b4 loovens, mulgrew to left back)

    Brown Wnyama Kayal Ledley Commons

    Hooper

Forrest must start on Thursday, he was sensational against Motherwell.

No i'm talking about a game away to Villareal, think we lost 1-0 and he missed a sitter at 0-0.

Aw aye, I can remember that!

Apart from that it was an impressive performance from him but that's what you get from Samaras. To be honest I don't care about this game in the slightest, Old Firm's the big one.

We'd still concede the standard 3 goals away from home in Europe. :icon_mrgreen:
