The atmosphere was crap. I have been at all the big European games since CP got done up, except Benfica this year. The atmosphere was no where near good enough. We have had loads better atmospheres than that.

I was screaming in the 2nd half o get people to sing but every1 was too busy sitting there. Waiting to be entertained.

Were u at the game? If u were then u would know that it wasnt that great.

Fenhill, I can see your point that you pay good, and lots of, money to follow Celtic. I understand that you would like to be entertained. I would too. But it must be absolutley deflating to the players to come out and not hear anything from the fans against Aberdeen. I went and sat round at the barrier between us and them and they were the loudest I had heard at CP for ages. They sang all nite, all be it only about 3 songs.

We need to start showing why we call ourselves the best fans in the world. It isnt because we sit back and slag off the team and manager if we arent winning. Really things aint that bad. If we win our remaining games, which isnt beyond us, we win the league. We are on something like a 9 game unbeaten run in the league (havent bothered to chek over it). If we do win the league then the season is a success, even if we have had a few bad results.

So come bhoys, lets all sing from the same hymn sheet. After this season ends then start calling for heads to roll. But while we are still in the fight, get behind the WHOLE team....

Its a 2 way street m8, the team need to provide the entertainment, then the fans will respond.
Things will change when ginger is gone though.

 

I think you just picked the wrong game mate. The fans have been a bit wary and nervous and no wonder after recent * ups with the strikers and the inability to score. It was also a * Cup game replay so it was not going to attract a full house. If it were versus the Dons in the league then it would have been a lot different. So avoid domestic cup games and try for a league or Euro game next time.

3 yrs without seeing the celts???? 3 days is bad enough, there might not have been a party going on mate but things are kind of tense round these parts just now.We can all see it's not happening right now and if we hopped about like loon-balls, people would just think they were doing enough keep this level of performance and we would be happy.
We know what we need to do now i just hope the team get the message along with WGS .Oh and booing is not acceptable in my opinion leave that to the manky mob.HAIL HAIL.

going by the amount of time you go to games and the time you spend on this website would make you one of the best supporters celtics ever seen, hail hail, i started a thread. i have seen a few of yours and most i agree with i dont put that many on here. i was largely disapointed with the game.

i am a supporter of the club and i may not put as much time and money into it like you but we as a whole are supporters

since the age of 12 (now 29) (ten years older than you by the way) when i got my first paperboy job a * of a lot of money went celtics way only up till 3 years ago when work commitment more or less prevents me from going to games and the fact i dont live in glasgow no more.

Well said mate. The great under performers at CP are the fans. We have become the 'prawn sandwich club'. We need to get our fire and passion back into the stands. The players need us.

 

you said it yourself... that wer no longer proud to be a tim. I will never stop being proud to be a tim. I will agree that there is a problem at CP with the atmosphere. But it has been addressed on here many a time and the majority of the members on this forum(like myself) support Celtic with a soar throat from the singing and shouting at matches. But to come on and go on about how * our fans are is a joke.

Just imagine how the players are feeling right now, they've let the best fans in the world down and we're sitting saying how * they are? Just give the lads a thought eh? As supporters we should support them to the end no matter how crap we do. It probably puts them off when we're not singing and cheering them on in the stands.

I can't carry a tune in a bucket Irrespective of my views on certain players and the manager I do roar them on although plenty of peeps around me don't. Honest to * I stand next to the dourest witch in the whole stadium and she really bugs my brain when she and her partner always get up and leave 15 mins early

 

I get a laugh with every1 around me... I sing my heart out for 90mins and when no1 sings along I shout "Is this a * kareoke or something" usually gets a laugh out of a few ppl n the atmosphere starts to lift around tht small area.

 

ffs if it takes the supporters to 'boost' the guys on thousands a week to make an effort we should just shut up shop.
