    Best news I've heard on the transfer front in a long time. Having him in goals will solve no end of problems. We've dropped so many points because of stupid goalkeeping errors. Well done to the board, they deserve a lot of credit for this.

    Fantastic news, and for once I applaud the board on their swift action.
    Boruc is a superb goalie, and he can be the no.1 for many years to come.
    As for Marshall, if he leaves I won't loose too much sleep. I like Marshall, but he still has a lot to learn, and if he's not willing to bide his time then IMO he can leave.
    So glad we've signed Boruc.

    i didnt expect him 2 b signed so quickly, this is celtic we r talking about, usually last minute so well done the hoops, we've got him!! i think that who ever sent him emails must have convinced him that the fans certainly wanted him 2 stay!! i know lots of people who were positive that he would b away 2 Arsenal, but it just shows the lure of the premiereship doesnt appeal 2 every1, cause celtics best!!!! Glad ur staying Boruc, i look forward 2 the many fine saves that r to come in the next 4 years+.

    he didnt have much to say in the conference lol he kinda just sat there and spoke if he absoloutly had too, strachan made sure he didnt incriminate himself tho lol its a funny old game on sat i was annoyed at the hearts result now its Monday the huns drew with dundee utd and Boruc has signed a lengthy contract!!

    A great move by everyone involved, Boruc could be a real hero at Celtic Park, and if he continues his current form he could well be ranked as one of the best keepers in Britain by the end of the season. If the rumours regarding Arsenal wre true and Boruc has chosen to stay his loyalty must be applauded, because the way it looked, he was going to be getting first team football with The Gunners. now if only we could do something about a couple of the guys in front of him...
