defo agree ther, shay given is one of the best in the world. he would get noticed a lot more if he moved to a bigger club but it shows how loyal he is to them. boruc is a better keeper than gordan in my opinion, gordan is to small for me.

 

dempsey, remember the last hearts game, now if thats what is meant to be the best keeper in britain a lot of people know little about goal keeping,
cech is a great keeper but still makes mistakes, and a few have cost them points,
given on the other hand ,we reared ourselves and i for one was * right off at macarooni for releasing him,agreed he is above two previously mentioned,
gordon apart they are getting on a bit now, i believe in their thirties which is a goalies best years ,but boruc is on a par with them just now, and ,learning all the time,and will only get better,i say, get him signed up asap on a long term deal with the going rate,
any mistakes he's had have not cost us to my mind,
he's a very good shot stopper and can control his area, could do better at cross balls as when he first came he was excellent with them,but tell me a keeper who at times does'nt lose a ball in flight now and then,
boruc in my opinion is the best keeper we have ever had with maybe the exception of peter latchford who single handedly won us the league one year,
so why not * up our keeper,
we should be doing it more, to more of our players, more often ,
myself included.

Cech, Given, Gordon? buahahahaha... well they're good without doubt... very good... but Boruc is da man!

Boruc saves us so many point's it un-real he saved us 3 points on sunday for a start another 2 against aberdeen the other week i could go on and on

 

if it wasn't Boruc we would never win against Man Ure...

 

I didnt say Gordon was the best in britain, just a bit better all round than Boruc with the exception of reflexes reactions and 1-on-1 situations, I dont consider those attributes most important attributes in a keeper.

Given is only 30 and a model professional, he'll be playing at the highest level for another 7-9 years if he wants to.

He plays against a far higher standard of opposition every week, makes more world class saves per game than anyone else in Britain maybe Europe and you think they are on par, explain that one?

imo boruc is the best, cech may be good but but chelskis defence in front of any goalie and it would make you look good
