    Celtic have agreed a fee for Arne Engels with the playmaker on his way to the UK for a medical.

    The Augsburg star had been waiting for both clubs to strike an agreement on the deal and now the Hoops are set to spend a record-breaking £11million to land the Belgian on a five-year deal.


    Football Scotland understands the deal has been agreed and the player will be in the UK for his tests over the weekend.

    Got robbed by Augsburg, they only payed €100'000 a yeah and a half ago for this lad frol Club Brügge :67:

    As sad as Matt's depature was, at least for once we showed some intent and will bring in a decent enough player for the first team and not another project that needs further years of development before he's ready! Really delighted with this!

    We're going slowly in the right direction, just sad Brendan couldn't open his mouth a month ago. Procrastinating everything to the last week is just so amateurish. I pray this to be the turning point for our recruitment!
