Never knew you knew for certain these players have been told they could leave anytime in the window. You should keep us all in the loop more often. Oh wait. You don't know do you?

 

We could have signed them all a month ago because....just because alright, there no other factors involved in players moving between clubs, they were our only targets all window and we just actively chose to not sign them til now for * and giggles. That's what some of our fans actually believe, it's ridiculous.

 

Exactly. Everyone wants them in day 1. That's the dream. The dream of these players is being told of other big moves to the epl by agents. Why go to us if they wait a we bit longer and double there wage and grab an epl team and skip us. Hence we've had to wait. Bit *, but if your wanting top talent from one of the best leagues that's how it's got to be, as * as it is. Hey if it doesn't pan out by close of the window let's all get mad. I believe it'll be fine though.

 

you dont know that they were prevented from leaving at any point either ,do you .the first mention of a bid for arnie was a couple of days ago and i know for certain you cant sign a player before you make a bid for them

We already had the cash to go in early for these players.
It seems pretty obvious we waited until MoR was done before we made any big moves - which looks now like a major mistake given how long MoR deal took.

When your own manager is openly criticising the pace of recruitment, then something is badly wrong.
Surely that is beyond doubt, even for the most fervent board supporters?

Why?

Do you not think it would be far more likely the media would have heard more if another bid had been rejected than if things were moving along in the background, or the deal was all agreed?

We all know by now that even in our incredibly slow recruitment model, the time between a player actually signing and being formally announced can be days.
