Anyone else fancie giving this epoch mod a go?

The download is so slow. Gonna take like an hour :S Fluctuating between 90kb/s and 200kb/s, usually get about 4mb/s.

 

You downloaded it? There a great thing called Arma 3 launcher you can get it here

You basically then just look for a server you want to join, press the play button and it will either tell you you don't have the mods and download them for you or start up the game with the mods loaded so you can start playing right away.

EDIT: It launches it in steam as well btw. and if the downloads take to long then you can always find a torrent dead easy, ask if you have trouble.

Remember to link the launcher to your mods folder if you download it.

 

Ah cheers man Must have just needed a slagging the download is whizzing by now, dropped from 2 hours to 6 minutes.

I'll download that launcher when this one has finished.

 

Btw if you want some quick fun, on the A3 launcher search CCG and it'll bring up some good servers including some Epoch, Overpoch (Epoch with more guns) and Wasteland servers.

Wasteland is great, you spawn in with a gun and just go about killing people, there's tanks and jets as well but they're really rare. Don't kill people in your team if you pick a team though. Also I recommend the Stratis map, Altis is terrible.

 

downloading epoch through that launcher and it downloaded quick enough but it's been stuck on 'seeding' for ages.

Sorry geeza. Is it a torrent you downloaded? With torrents when you are seeding it means it's downloaded and you are just sharing it so others can download.

 

Ah * yeah haha I knew I recognised it from the good ole days of Limewire.

 

Is this epoch mode supposed to have zombies on it? I ran around for * ages, got kitted up then fell off a playground slide and died Got a few bits back together but not seen another person or anyone on the map.

 

Just tried Epoch there. What's the deal with the * in the cloak? Keeps following me around the * and scaring the * outta me

 

I havent seen a guy in a cloak :smiley-laughing002: I did shoot a drone down earlier though and i just read that there were no zombies so its not exactly like day z.

 

How does that Launcher work? I clicked to download the mods for Epoch but nothing happened.
