    we are only playing for first place, stop worrying we are through, no pressure in champions league game, no having only to draw to qualify nothing we have done it.

    braging rights? we did it with a game in hand beat man u home and away, drew with benfica home and away, and who cares in the next game, only have to worry about the next round for a change.

    Celtic are through to the group stages of the Champions league. Even if Benfica Beat Manchester United In a fortnight Celtic would go through in place of United. Here is the Uefa qualifying criteria.

    Celtic sent Man Utd Home tae think again!!!!!
    Points earned in head-to-head matches between the tied teams.
    Total goals scored in head-to-head matches between the tied teams.
    Away goals scored in head-to-head matches between the tied teams.
    Cumulative goal difference in all group matches.
    Total goals scored in all group matches.
    Higher UEFA coefficient going into the competition.


    If Benfica beat Man Utd then Celtics away goals at old Trafford will get us through.If Manu win or daw then Benfica lose out

    WE ARE THROUGH NO MATTER WHAT SCORE
    AMAZING OR WHAT???????????????

    been looking at the tables, there could be some big teams coming in second "real, barca, inter, liverpool or psv, roma but aek athens looks the easy game, plus show the jumbos how it should be done.

    Delighted but I still do not understand how we are def through. I take it goal difference does not count in the usual way cause if Benfica beat Man U 1-0 and we lost to Copenhagen, would that not put Benfica on 10 and Man U and us on 9 with Man U having at least a two better goal difference than us?
