It's not about 'wee victories', it's about you deciding to ignore things to have a wee hissy fit to yourself. I'm not saying I'm hurting, if you go back and read properly I haven't said anywhere that I'm hurting.

I'm not sure you understand this thread fully, I'd suggest you go back and read it.

Football is all about emotional outpourings mate, it's why we all have an attachement to the club but I can see why you don't understand that, going by your last post.

Who has used the burnt out reason for him not playing?

Would Henderson be playing week in week out in the current team? Is he not better elsewhere for the time being, gaining first team experience and playing regularly? A lot of the support moan when young players can't get a game and should be loaned out, then when it happens, we still have folk moaning.

I think he should be, certainly this season we've needed cover in all 5 midfield positions that Henderson can play.

Saying that my problem is sending him down to a far poorer level of football. He shouldn't be playing in the Scottish First Division.

For what it's worth, I get why some people might feel a bit apathetic. We have no real challenger in the league and three very disappointing results in Europe this year(Malmo away and the two Molde games)

If we win tomorrow though we're back in it and people will start getting excited again. Even if we don't there's still the chance we might win a treble. Next year's league will be more exciting and I think we'll qualify for the CL with an established defence. It's always darkest before dawn and all that :50:

By "ignoring things" you have demonstrated clearly that means "ignoring me" and, to be frank, my motivation for engaging directly with posters who post sixth form prose via huge multiple paragraphs on What-Celtic-Meant-To-Me-And-Why-I-Dont-Feel-The-Same-Way-Now is absolutely zero.

In fact, people like Og1 et al who actively post spiteful messages about the club in general are of more interest to me. At least they feel something.

Give me that any day over posters clamouring over themselves to tell us how much Celtc doesn't mean to them these days.

I'll give the OP some credit - at least he had the sense to admit he was drunk when he posted it. What's your excuse?*

*That's rhetorical by the way, the last thing I want is another volley of bland apathy :50:

It seems Deila is damned if he does, and damned if he doesn't in regards to loaning out youngsters. Strange, because for years, plenty wanted to see our younger players loaned out to gain first team experience, now it's happening, folk want to see them kept. Even though, the likelihood is, they will struggle to get regular games.

Ahh, so there's some emotional outpouring in you afterall. Funny how things like that happen, isn't it? Now you're wanting to know peoples feelings on the club. You really need to make up your mind Roy's Keane.

As it was, my post wasn't even really about the apathy I feel for the club at the moment. It's not so much apathy as * frustration. It was about your statement that you determine what you want to feel about the club, which is absolute bullshit.

So you continue on your wee crusade mate, * and moaning about folk and making a really quite valiant attempt at being amusing.

Nah, it's doing things correctly mate. I don't want to see it happening just for the sake of it. What's the end goal? You work towards the end goal, always.

Sending him out on loan to a level lower than what we could have him at isn't condusive to that end goal for me. Which is making sure Henderson is the best player he can possibly be for us. For me, we sacrificed a bit of his development for Scott Allan.

Actively posts spiteful messages against the club. Do I aye?

Corporate directors and managers not up to the job are not the club. I am the club and so are you RoysKeane and so is everyone else. I will never sit back keep my mouth shut and take it when I see my club making stupid * decisions. Keep in mind I felt so strongly about the mistakes we were making that I took some abuse on here because of it. If some men like to be told how to think thats up to them but you actively target people with dissenting voices and it makes my skin crawl.

It wasn't for the sake of it though. The fact is, Henderson plays in a position where we are probably stronger than anywhere else. We have Brown, Bitton, Johansen & Armstrong who are all better than him just now, and would all be ahead of him. Of course we could have kept him and had him playing out of position every now and then filling in, but is that any better for his development than having him playing at Hibs, in his natural position week in week out? The end goal will be to have Henderson as a first team regular playing in the middle of the park I would imagine. The best chance he has of doing that, is to be playing regular football and impressing. I've no issues with that being at Hibs at all.

By all accounts he is doing well but my instincts told me at the time that it was very poor from Deila. We dont even have a backup in the bank of two and the lad would probably be starting tomorrow night. I have high hopes for him I just hope this loan doesnt wreak him.

Sending him down to a very poor level of football to play in week in, week out because Hibs needed a Scott Allan replacement is for the sake of it for me.

We could have got him playing week in and week out at a higher level. That would be better for his development.

This is all really beside the point.

I take you back to my Darnell Fisher point, last season he played Efe Ambrose, a bombscare of a player at right back instead of a young guy we had in the ranks that has shown he is capable of doing the job when called upon. Why was he not playing? Why was Deila not trusting the youth then? How many youth players has he gave a chance to in 14 months?

WGS had Maloney, McGeady, Beattie and McManus at that point until Beattie * up with injuries. Lenny had James Forrest and Twardzik (again, Twardzik with injury)

Who's Deila brought in from the youth ranks? Who has he shown faith in from the youths? He hasn't went down that route at all.

How long till we see progress there?

Of course he's doing well, he's in the Scottish Championship. That's my point really.

Look at what St Johnstone done to the Huns that were raping everycunt every week down there. It's a properly * level of football.

Fair enough Dev, let's agree to disagree (if you can find it within yourself to stir up those emotions.)

I'll have to take your word on what your post was about to be completely fair as I never had the prerequisite hour and a half to read it from top to bottom. I'm pretty sure it would have been packed with salient points like the other 73 posts you have made on the subject today.

So, having made my point perfectly clear (and only taking a few posts to do so) I shall bow out and let you get on with your soul searching.

Genuinely no hard feelings though - hope no offense taken - just sparring a bit :50:

Yeah I was mad against it too. I thought he was good for 15 games at least this season. Based on injuries and tiredness probably a lot more. We are developing Celtic players not pro footballers. They have to be good enough for us so games for us is preferable.

The fact that Bitton signed a new deal takes the pressure off us I think. I expected him to move on as early as January or the summer at the latest, that is why I was mad against Liam leaving because I thought we could integrate him this season and see if he could cut it next season. The way it has worked out might benift us as we can push this plan back a year or two and he will have a season of first team football but it should have been SPL football.

Wait so you're trying to be a snarky * about something you hadn't even read? Jesus christ mate, was a few paragraphs, my apologies if it was beyond you. I'll keep my replies to a more managable level in the future.

Who did he bring through last year? And why was Tierney back on the bench for Izzy? Tierney is the perfect example of who should be getting game time just now.
