no you're a fool. If you think a managers job should be judged after 4 friendlies and one cup game, then i suppose you should apply for a job in 'the sun'. but of course it's always the easiet to blame someone for the defeat, were you in Bratislava, have you seen the game? have you attended the trainings, talked to the players, do you know how fit they currently are, do you take into consideration that some players played not more than 100minutes this season. that it was a debut for some of them, that defenders made horrible mistakes. For your sake I hope Strachan gets fired, then next season you'll be posting the same * about a new coach

ffs you can't always expect good times - if we weren't crap now and again then there would be no fun in winning anything.

Besides some of the best times i've had as a celtic fan were back when we were crap in the old "sack the board" days - i cant explain why but there was a sense of masochistic pride that i was still turning up to watch complete dross!

Must be what its like to be a jambo.

Nothing better for the system than a good moan now and again.

You're right, Weem. We cant expect to always have good times but what we can expect is that the players put in 100% no matter who we play. We didnt even put 10% in tonight except a few selected players.

Absolutely m8 - it was utterly deplorable on all fronts.

But some people need to get a grip sometimes - just 'cos yer teams pish doesnt make you a bad person.

Adversity maketh the man and all that.

Obviously we must try to take our slagging at work tomorrow like real men - and not try to hide in the toilet every 15 mins.

Though i might mysteriously get a bout of the runs at 9am sharp.

Chance * all he's had a full 7 weeks to prepare for that embarassment last night. He let McNamara go in his first 2 weeks in charge cause he indicated to the board not to offer Jackie the same money as last year. Then he * moans about the lack of quality defenders. He signs two dud wingbacks Camara and Telfer and an injured guy called Virgo. Zarawski looked * lazy against Fulham, Leicster, Leeds and non existant last night and that Aldierre has lost posession of the ball 100% of every pass he's received in all games, that's why Arsenal don't want him. Just cut our losses now and try and get Moyes or Oleary in now before it's too late for the league.

I want tae give Ghord another chance. But if I were him, I'd issue a public appology tae all Celtic fans, regarding last night's match! And aboot the title of this thread: you should be banned! You just insulted a few dedicated Celtic fans, included myself! And I CANNAE accept that!! Since I support Celtic I have had night mares and sleepless nights because of them, yet I think they are the best thing that ever happened tae me!

Whoever has said Strachan should go is talking a load of mince. Yes, he got it amysmaly wrong last night, but at least things can only get better - * forbid it gets any worse. He's not had any managerial experience in Europe, so hopefully he has now got the kick up the * he needed.

 

Our defending, or rather lack of it was schoolboy stuff! Ball watching right across the backline. It is time for GS to get his ball's out of the fridge and drop the guys like Bobo who got away with it too easily under MON. Hartson, Thompson and Balde were all handed lucrative new deals prior to MON's departure but if Strachan is to be respected he will have to disregard poor decisions like that. Bobo Balde for Bayern Munich -imagine Beckenbauer agreeing to that!
