It's MUCH more fun being high. You feel * but in control, it can be horrible when you get too pished and lose control.

I have never really been drunk, I have drank alcohol on about six or seven occasions in my life and never drank enough on those occasions to be properly drunk.

I last drank alcohol about eight years ago. Never been a fan of it.

I've got myself into awkward and sometimes embarrassing situations as a result of drinking far too much. I've sorted myself out since then though. I know when to stop myself.

Haven't really been drunk in a while. The only reason I drink is because I don't enjoy myself if I'm sober when I'm on a night out. Gives me a bit more confidence too.

Aye, plus when you're stoned you think about smart things that you would never think about sober or drunk, and instead of feeling depressed while drunk, you feel happy when stoned! :icon_mrgreen:

Only time I get slightly drunk is at a disco, every month or two. Don't see the point in getting drunk other than that.

Try to avoid getting too drunk, these days. I like being tipsy, though. Usually gives me an energy boost (odd all things considering)...

I used to love being drunk. The whole point in drinking for me was to get drunk and have a good * time! I did many stupid things when drunk, many things i regret but i also had many amazing times too. I was also very partial to Ecstasy in my early 20's.

I haven't drank now for over 2 and a half years. I used to drink every weekend without fail and one night, sometimes 2, during the week. I was a heavy binge drinker.

For some reason though, i don't really miss it. I certainly have more money because i stopped. I haven't had that feeling of waking up in the morning and thinking "oh *, what the * have i done" for a long time. That is something i don't miss.

I sort of miss Ecstasy though, and i remember fondly how it used to feel but i've gotten older now and will be having a baby soon so i suppose i have to leave all that sort of stuff behind. The other half is very anti drugs too so it wouldn't be worth it and i wouldn't want to be setting a bad example to my own kids.

Nothing wrong with not liking drinking mate. You should actually count yourself lucky. Those of us who can be too fond of it can find that a lot of your income ends up going on it and you have nothing to show for your money. Since i stopped drinking, i have far more to show for my money. It wasn't unknown for me to spend a couple of hundred quid in a weekend if i was going out in town and have nothing but a killer hangover to show for it.

I'm glad i don't drink now. It will be a good example for my kid.

The only one downside i would say is that i am less likely to spend too long at parties and things like that. Sometimes i just give them a miss.

Not because i can't enjoy myself but because when everyone else is drinking, you end up having to listen to their drunk pish talk and that is no fun when you are sober.

That has to be the only downside though.

I don't really enjoy drinking, but I like being drunk. By that I mean I almost never drink socially, I just do it to get drunk if I'm going out to a club so I can enjoy myself. It sounds quite sad to say but you can't enjoy yourself in places like that if your not pished.

Once I stop clubbing I could see myself giving up to booze altogether.
