Me, never touched the stuff and don't plan to. I can still go out with my mates and have a laugh sober, to me if you can't have a good time with your mates without being * then if doesn't say too much about your personality. Drink culture in the UK scares me though, I've been on 2 'lads holidays' and saw some scary *. Just don't see why people feel the need to drink so much. It's not just students, teenagers, young adults though, it seems to be a cultural thing that everyone drinks. Alcohol adverts are on every TV channel during every ad break, yet it's illegal to advertise cigarettes, which aren't nearly as dangerous. Makes no sense to me.

if im on a night out i always start on a few pints but it never lasts long, i move onto pints of vodka and redbull, then some jagerbombs, few shots sambuca maybe, couple aftershocks, until im blackout drunk:31:

    Spot on mate.

It's just sad. I'm 16, yet when I'm at a party, I am the odd one out. People don't understand why I don't drink, crazy.

And now today, on facebook and twitter, people in my year and even the year or two years below me are complaining about having a hangover and needing to 'whitey'.

I worry for some of their futures:56:

More or less, last times I drank were before the Barca game and then Juventus, just went off it,drinking every almost every single weekend since you were in school gets tedious. Also realised how much drunk people completely suck.

I love a drink every weekend. But I can control it to a certain point where I just go home when I feel tired.

I don't drink or smoke. I'd never do drugs.

So yes, I guess you could class me as teetotal. My last drink was about three summers ago.

I rarely drink, was never been into it much at all. I'll have the odd one or two now and again but months and months can go by without touching it...May was the last time I had a drink, last game of the season.

I am not a big drinker, go out maybe 2/3 times a month, i always just take out 20 quid with me so i know firstly i won't waste money and secondly i won't have a disastrous hangover the next morning.

Now 20 quid is still enough to get pretty drunk with pound drinks. I understand the concern, i myself never was or will be a person who always wants to go out, got mates who go out 2 times a week. Just don't see the point. Surely going out every so often makes it better. Going out too many times just dilutes the experience.

Went out last friday with a load of mates, bout 12 of us, first time we all went out in months, it was fantastic, if we did that regularly the excitement would dwindle.

So im not teetotal but i know my limits.

I wish I had the moral strength to be a teetotaler - I really do. I admire those who can manage it.

I very seldom drink these days and have only had one night of drinking this year.

On my way to being a semi tee-totaller.
