what in gods greeen earth are you talking about? they dont even have 1 sit in THoC! and are rightfully ridiculed by most people and politicians in england.

Ive been following united for some time and in my time there has never been a right wing component since the 80s. plenty of other engish clubs as well like Everton have no affiliation with anything remotely related to the BNP.

excellent post, and most importantly, well informed post amidst a lot of misconceptions

I think they got roughly 400,000 votes at the last general election. But I doubt that's all the very right-wing people in England. I'm not sure what you seem to be getting so offended about. There are a lot of very right-wing people in England, they support a wide variety of clubs. Man U will definitely have some in their support, and Everton might do as well. Just because a few of these people support a club doesn't mean it has a "right wing component", but most clubs will have some fans with that view.

so you're talking about very subjective notions that you suspect might be true, but try to pass as facts, or at the very least , as informed opinion, whcih it clearly isnt. United dont have a right wing component, neither Everton to the best of my recollection. Of course there must be right wing people at old trafford, as they're at CP or anywhere else, but they arent organized or even remotely noticeable by the naked eye so why mention them at all?

Sky Sports news special report is about Racism. It has just started so it might be rubbish. They did start at Millwall though.

Didn't think it was particularly good programme ( 25 mins long with a break in between and alot of filling as they kept repeating.) I wasn't surprised one bit at the racism shown by some Millwall fans. In terms of Millwall what was more worrying was the clubs lack of any enthusiasm to do anything about it.

The most telling point raised by the programme though that was raised throughout, was the way black and Asian footballers either are afraid to report racism or feel there is no point.

This though is a problem. The physio that was talking about the terrible disgusting abuse he has to put up with from " a top EPL player" was shocking but if he doesn't feel he can name names then it will continue to be swept under the carpet. Perhaps the FA should look at this instead of wearing t-shirts once a year.
