Thought he was great tonight. Aggressive, great defending, got forward and that tackle that created the penalty.

Maybe I just can't see by his initial performances with us, because he just gives me the fear constantly. He's good for a crunching tackle and the odd good cross into the box. But his overall defending is so, so poor.

That shot right at the death from their left winger that Hart saved all came from Ralston. He dived in 35 yards out when there was no need and got turned. Tried to recover but put zero pressure on their winger who had plenty of space to put in a dangerous shot. His body shape and positioning always seem all wrong.

His tackle in the build up to the penalty was fantastic, to be fair to him.

100%. If it wasn't for that tackle we'd have dropped points tonight. Barely played and was really solid.

I think he was average, but for our performance made him one of the better players.

So one of our better players? Thought he was much better than Johnston has been this season, defensively and also going forward

He’s better than AJ but for a supposed tough guy he’s rolling about the deck every time he is challenged. Needs to man up.

Don’t know why but when the chips are down he just always seems to be one of the guys that can be relied on. Will never shirk a tackle and will never give up. Those are 2 quality attributes to have for a team in a title race.

We all know what Ralston gives us now and there’s a degree of consistency to it as well. It’s good we know we can at least rely on him at RB.

Who would think we would’ve said that 4/5 years ago

Fair play to him he’s made himself a key part of the wider squad

Because, like I've said before... He loves the club, hates the Huns and might not be the best technically but will always be amongst the most committed on the field... To be honest, he's EXACTLY the kind of players we need right now!

Gave us the header in added time vs Ross County last season and that tackle last night that led to the goal.

Celtic through and through. Deserves a lot more respect from Celtic fans.

Take it will be Ralston for next game at least. Will be interesting to see if he takes his chance.

Really no right to get anywhere near winning that tackle.

His tackle won us the game. It’s that simple. When you look at the replay, he wasn’t even favourite to win it. I think it highlighted Ralston in a nutshell. Hes not at the required level we should be aiming to have - but he is more than capable as a deputy, who will run thorough brick walls for us whilst knowing where he stands. I don’t see a problem with this relationship

Aye, watched Sportscene tonight and when they showed the lead up to the tackle I'd swear Ralston isn't in view for about 2 seconds as the Hibs player runs towards the ball.

It's not just that it led to the penalty, that was a another very dangerous break in the making if he hadn't put a stop to it with that tackle. He's very slow so getting there really showcases how quick his mind was to read that. I really think his football intelligence is massively underrated.

Hibs fans must be spewing watching that video. Absolute riddy from their player. Clearly shat out of it.
