The kid did exactly as expected. The best he could!

Neymar may be a Weapons Grade *, but he is also one of the very best players on the planet.

I think he will improve a lot , which is a good thing for us obviously. He also showed that he hasn't much fear which is another good thing. I expect to see him featuring semi regularly between now and the season end ,domestically, which will help give some players a rest.

Very true although 9/10 times he'll still try staying on his feet and chase the ball.

Context of the game and team he was facing, context of where he is in his career development, then Ralston done very well. He will get better....

How so? Not having an ultimate nightmare isn't the same to doing very well. We've put young, inexperienced players in big European games before- David Marshall, John Kennedy, even Tierney, and they've put in big performances. It's not a scatching criticism to admit Ralston just wasn't very good last night. The whole team wasn't.

I would say Semantics, agreed the team were poor, I doubt if any were getting more than a 5 out of 10, but I guess at kick off we would have been expecting less from Ralston than we would from say Simunovic, in that respect Ralston done well (strategically withdrew the very)

I think you are focusing on Ralston too much, to the exclusion of the rest of the team. I was just so glad it was not Gamboa out there instead. I like Ralston, he has a bit of * about him, and he reminds me a bit of Broony. We could maybe think of building the team around him and Millar once Lustig hangs up his boots.

He showed no fear and that will stand up well for him in development.

Christ. Build the team around two full backs who have each played a handful of senior games.

They might not even prove to be good enough to hold down a first team place. Until Tierney leaves, if he does, Miller will not be in the team regularly.

Nah, it's just that there's a been a lot of people saying Ralston "did well" and I don't agree at all. He's not to blame for the 5-0 loss but he didn't put in a big performance. It happens, no point pretending otherwise.

Love you doc, but blabbing about your hatred of Gamboa and Calvin Miller being the future of the club is drivel.

Well it was @JC Anton that mentioned it before I think it is not a bad idea. Maybe Tierney could move inside.

I don't hate Gamboa. Just don't think he is Celtic class. Looks like Brenden dozen't rate him either. Pullis was the one who hated Gamboa by all accounts. But Calvin Miller definitely has a future here at Paradise. We should always be looking at actively lowering the age of the team for energy purposes. Gordon, Brown, Lustig, Hayes and Sinclair all getting on a bit.

Tierney is a left back. He's capable of playing in a couple of different positions, but he's a left back.

Mate you talk *, our two hardest working players are Hayes and brown and you want us to lower the age because you think they don't have enough energy? * me have a word

This was reckless. It got a cheap laugh but its not the behaviour that should be encouraged from our youth.

For an 18 year old on that stage he had a great performance but I don't want to see him do daft stuff like that and play up to the crowd

It was not daftness. It was the over exuberance of youth.

    I like that.

Sinclair is 28. Still has plenty of years left in him.

He gave Neymar more of a game than Lustig ever has.
