The thing that has impressed me most of late is his attitude. He knows he has no competition for his place, so could easily just turn up, do the bare minimum, look like the player everyone said he was and still be guaranteed to be starting every week as there is no one else. Instead he has been slogging his guts out to improve and is taking responsibility for his role on and off the pitch. You have to respect that, especially as he'll be well aware what the fans thought of him when he came in to the team.

Yes, we still need better, but you know he's going to give his all for the team every time he plays. I hope, for his sake and for the team, he can continue to improve as, even if it isn't here long term, he should still go on to make a decent career for himself somewhere based on his performances of late.

Hes really not doing anything wrong. His past right now is the reason people are saying things like we still need better. I'd take better yes, but imagine we just signed him, and he's playing like this at his age. Rightfully we would be creaming ourselves saying we've found a good one. Keep it up and full effort everyday will also bring more improvements. Good luck taking him out the starting 11 for whoever we sign.

he really shouldn’t speak to media, as much as I love the guy - “ehrrrm” :giggle1:

his job should be solely to get in there and do a job, score the odd great goal and protect Kyogo from hunnery when our sweet prince goes out and explores Glasgow

Can't believe I'm saying this but he can't be dropped on current form, Juranovic will have to warm the bench for a while.

At the moment my favourite Celtic player. He's been playing well, gives his all and plays for the jersey. * love that.

Anyone who says 100% commitment and effort should be a given for any footballer (insinuating that praise shouldnt be given for those traits)...spare me the bullshit, how many players have we seen who are clearly not 100% committed to playing for Celtic.

Some players are cut a fair bit of slack by the Celtic fans but unfortunately Ralston is not one of them, when he inevitably has a bad game (as all players do from time to time) the knives will be out and the hysterical online nutjobs will be giving it 'see, see, i told you, i told you he was * *!'.

Ralston has risen above all negativity around him before, im sure he can continue to do that. Fair play to man, the Rise of Ralston is a joy to watch.

He was fine and spoke well there. Wasn't flustered once despite it being his first press conference..

Seems clear that clear direction and expectations being set by Ange has helped him a lot. He mentioned that a few times.

I take it Lennon wasn't the best at that or just focused on certain players not the whole team.

Genuinely thought he was totally fine in the media conference. The worst I have seen was Scott Brown until he finally got more comfortable with the media. He would give three word answers, it was like trying to get blood out of a stone. In a 5 minute interview he would be asked about 30 questions due to how short his answers were, a journalists nightmare...and im not talking about the 'dunno' interview.

Thought he came across well in that press conference.

Surprised how well he answered the questions about his new positioning and incoming RB/transfer rumours.

Sure wee Kyogo battered him as well, there's not much more a pleasing sight than seeing Andy Halliday in pain. Dirty *.

Guy is doing well at the moment. Like so many, just needed a decent run of games.
It is refreshing to see home grown talent in starting 11- him, Welsh, JF and CMcG.

Competition for places is never a bad thing though, so (hopefully) when we sign Juranovic, if Ralston continues it will make sure both are being pushed, which only helps the team and make sure that standards are kept

True, and that would be RB position in good nick, if we do get Juranovic

Ange in his presser commented how Ralston has gone up a level and how he thought there was more to come. If there’s more to come then he’ll be a top RB and we'll have 2 first choices.
