    In Lawwell we trust:56:

Wonderful. We've just gave Rangers a start to 3 in a row. Panic loan deals coming up again in January to try and salvage some pride again. Nice work.

we have to back lennon and the the players he has now and wait and see

but i was a bit gutted that we only spent 560k of the McGeady money

If we * up the board have to be blamed, what have we taken in so far something which far passes the 15 Million mark and how much of that have we used to reinvest?

I'm unhappy about this transfer window we spent £600,000 on our shambolic defence which cost us already in Europe if big dan gets injured were screwed at the back , if cha gets injured who imo is not great were screwed can't comment on emilio as he's only played one game I honestly fear for us but hey I hope to * it works out for us .

The way in which some people in this thread are discussing transfers, wages and profit is like kids swapping SPL stickers and totting up their pocket money after buying a couple of lucky bags :31:

Unless we get an up to date copy of the financial accounts we will not know what has been spent and what has not, until then it's conjecture. Let's be honest very few of us are most probably not actually qualified to make sweeping statements on the forum with regards to how the money side of a football club works, let alone start calling people names because they've done some quick calculations on the back of a * packet and decided they've duped us, or let us down..........

It is a shame we didn't bring in a CB, GK and Robbie Keane, but life has to go on and that team needs our support, so come on, put it behind us all for now and get behind Lenny and the Bhoys! :50:

to be fair it's not rocket science to add the fee of people going in and going out is it now? even lennon said himself am going to be getting all of the Mcgeady money, will i need a * packed to add that up?

or wages that people where(also all of the top earners from last jan window and now have left the club), it's been let known, as celtic post wants went in and out every season....

i think even a blind man can see we have made money this season buy selling, and agree with you about the CB

Why would you even begin to think that will happen? Buying big players I mean.

Is it? Boruc, McGeady, Keane, Kamara, Fortune and Hinkel (as good as ) all gone. Do we have better in any of those positions?

Agree with the rest of your post though. At least we dont have Mowbray so by default we should do better.

    Yep.

I kinda have to agree. Our defence should have been priority and yet we've hardly spend a penny improving it. I was really hoping for at least one more centre back before the window closed.

Our defence could really cost us this season, hope I'm wrong.

I agree with what your saying, losing Boruc seems senseless to me now. I was meaning I think the team as a whole are better and will perform better. The defence is a 'huge' area of worry for me to be honest. I'm really gutted like yourself mate.

Thing is mate, do we really know how much loosing out in Europe has cost us? Do we know how down we are on ticket sales, both season and others?

We certainly don't know exact wage figures, nor the money paid to players who might have had a clause in their contracts. Another issue is Tony Mowbray's compensation, * only knows how much that's affected things, and I don't think that's even been paid.......

It's true we've made money by selling, I can't argue with you, but has this money really been saved?

Clutching at straws idea. Once the Van Der Vaart deal is done at Spurs, might the Keane loan deal be in place?. In theory both deals could be agreed in priciple. For example, Celtic have agreed the loan deal with Spurs but they will confirm it once the Van Der Vaart deal is done and if VDV hasnt been completed in time then Spurs could pull out of the Keane deal

Sounds too good to be true mate, if only eh....... Sitting here gutted just now, but this would certainly make me 100 times happier. Cant see it happening at all though. Should be interesting to hear what the club are going to say tomorrow.

Its got to be registered at the relevant FA's headquarters in time mate. The VDV wait is because they are verifying if the paperwork got their on time. Which will take until tomorrow as all the staff * off:icon_mrgreen:

Those correct points seem to be overlooked by many imo.
