Good players slip through the net at youth level from time to time at every team. Some players take longer to develop than others there's no really much you can do about that. We've all seen a player at some point who we might think is pretty average then he moves to another team and for whatever reason comes onto a game.

Is there anyone in the first team you wouldn't for, under the right circumstances?

    It's hilarious..

Can't play at a high intensity as he's been goosed for year's and nowhere near as good overall as the fat arsed * who's just popped his leg.....no a single one of them would've been calling for him to start and loads have said he's been gash this season....now it's a blessing in disguise hahahahaaaa

Starfelt and Carter-Vickers bodied him so bad he visibly wanted off and gave up. Lol..

It's going to be interesting seeing how they cope with him for the rest of the season.

There's been games this season where they look like they're dropping points, and Morelos will pop up and save the game for them. Even if he's not scoring he's winning them free-kicks, penalties and assisting. Another major thing is he's able to bring them up the pitch by drawing fouls from goal-kicks. Roofe can't do any of that.

One things for sure, they are absolutely * in Europe with Morelos, geniunely think Braga will knock them out now.

Ange Postecoglou will keep Rangers guessing over whether Kyogo Furuhashi will make a stunning Old Firm comeback until 75 minutes before kick off.

The Celtic boss won’t name his team until the last possible moment but admitted his Japanese talisman is ready to return after being out with a hamstring injury since Boxing Day.

Furuhashi made a massive impact on the Scottish game scoring 16 goals in 26 games - including the double that won the Premier Sports Cup - after arriving from the J-League and his recovery for the run-in to the season is a massive boost for Celtic as they chase a Treble in Postecoglou’s first season.

A win at Ibrox will stretch their lead to six points with six games to go and the Australian will spend today pondering whether to throw Kyogo straight back in, or stick with the free-scoring Giorgios Giakoumakis.

He said: “Kyogo has trained and has had this week of being integrated with the team which he’s pretty happy about.

“With him, it’s just a matter of seeing how he responds to training and I’ll make a decision on his involvement for the weekend. We still have training tomorrow but he’s with the first team now and it’s just a matter of picking the right time.

‘Maybe this weekend isn’t the right time for him. I haven’t made that decision yet.

‘But he’s definitely training and is available. So that’s the first bit. Now we’ve got to see how he copes with our training on a daily basis.

‘But he’s been working awfully hard in rehab, he’s pushed himself to the limits to be ready as quickly as he can. It’s great for us that he’ll be available for the run in.

“The only one that’s definitely ruled out is James Forrest who still had a bit of a niggle so Sunday comes maybe too quickly for him. But everyone else is available.”

Asked if Kyogo and Giakoumakis could form a partnership, or if it would be one or the other, Postecoglou straight-batted an answer, saying: “I don’t think in those terms or in hypotheticals.

"I have the reality to think about without going into the hypotheticals of whether Kyogo and Giakoumakis can play because then I’m discounting Abada, I’m discounting Maeda, I’m discounting Forrest.

“What’s key for me is that we’ve got some good strong attacking options and I want them all fit and fine for the last part of the season. If they are all available, I’m sure they’ll all contribute in some way.

“The group’s in a good space. This is probably the strongest group of players we’ve had since the beginning of the year in terms of where they are and in terms of their fitness and their form.

“We are in a much better space in terms of preparing but the challenge still remains the same. It’s going to be a difficult game and a difficult venue.

“We’re going to have to be at our best to be successful.”

And he shrugged off any suggestion that being favourites for the title has heaped additional pressure on his shoulders, saying: “How much pressure do you think I had when I was announced as manager of Celtic at the beginning of the year!

“Is there more pressure? I’m sure I’ll find out. It’s all good. The key to all that is you embrace it.

“This is a position we wanted to be in. I’d hate to be in a position where we were playing a big game like this and there was no consequence to it because we were too far behind or it had no meaning.

“That’s the pressure because that’s not the position I want this football club to be in.

“Where we are right now is where I want us to be so that’s not pressure, that’s me hoping to be in this situation.

“If you hope to be in a certain situation you can’t be not feeling good about it so I’m looking forward to the next period of games.”

YOU could guarantee Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic side a draw at Ibrox.

You could — but there’s no way he’d take it.

A share of the spoils at the end of the high noon showdown would leave Celtic still in the box seat at the top of the Premiership.

It would keep the gap over Rangers at three points with six games to go.

But playing for an Old Firm stalemate isn’t in Postecoglou’s DNA. That’s why he’ll send his team out to win — and to win playing their way.

Asked if not having to go for a win might change his approach, the Hoops boss said: “I don’t think so.

"There are still seven games left, games of real consequence.

“If someone said to me there’s a system that would guarantee you a draw, I wouldn’t take it.

“If I did, I’d be thinking, ‘maybe we could have won’.

“We always fall back on why we’re in the position we are at the moment.

“It’s because we believe in something beyond trying to win a game of football. It’s about playing our way.

“We’re getting to a point when the league is so tight. If we start thinking we’ve got an edge we could stumble.

“It’s a game they want to win but we want to win as well because if we do, it puts us in a strong position.

“From our perspective, we’re going there to put on our performance and play our football.

“We’ve done that over the last few months and we’ve ended up with a good chance of being successful.”

Postecoglou was speaking as he picked up his third Glen’s Manager of the Month award.

He’s now won all three boss gongs for 2022 after adding again to his squad in the January transfer market.

It means the players he takes to Ibrox will pose a different challenge to the ones who lost 1-0 there in August.

In fact, the Aussie feels they’ll head across the city the strongest they’ve been since he’s been in charge.

Postecoglou said: “We had our moments in that first game when we could have made an impact. But the team was very much in its infancy.

“We had Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie who left the day after the game.

"They made their moves south which we kind of knew was going to happen.

“You can’t afford to lose too many in the Premiership if you want to be successful.

“But we were able to take away the positives from the game, but you also understand you have to get results.

“It was a different kind of build-up this time as we’re a lot more settled now. The group’s in a good space.

“It’s probably the strongest group we’ve had since the beginning of the year in terms of fitness and form.

“But the challenge still remains the same. We’re going to have to be at our best to be successful.”

Celtic haven’t won a league clash at Ibrox since September 2019.

But Postecoglou is used to being told things the Hoops haven’t done — then seeing his side achieve them.

He added: “There have been a lot of boxes to tick. It has been said we haven’t won away for quite a while or hadn’t beaten Rangers for a while.

“These things always exist, but my approach is to try and overcome it.

“Whether it’s climbing mountains or overcoming challenges, there are seven games left and we’re now in a position where we’ve given ourselves a chance of success.

“This game will have an edge. We want to make sure we continue to do all the things that have got us to the top of the mountain at this point.

“Once you start thinking too much about outcomes, then that’s where there is a chance you’ll stumble.

“We’ve tried to have a laser-like focus on facing every challenge every week without looking too far ahead.

“Going to Ibrox on Sunday will be a fantastic occasion and we’re going into it in good form.

“There are going to be emotions in the game but we have a clear understanding of who we are and the team we want to be.

“When you get too emotional and you don’t stay calm, you lose focus on what’s important to us.

“I’ll be relaying the message to the boys we are in this position for a reason.

"It hasn’t been because of individuals. It hasn’t been because of us doing extraordinary things.

“It’s because everyone has believed in something and in our core values and that’s what we keep believing in every week.”

They do but usually they don’t go out there way not to when there’s nobody else to challenge the clear best one. But I’m pretty sure Rodgers only won about 3/4 MOTM awards

I know we've all said it already but I've genuinely never been so desperate to see a manager win the title. If he could all but secure it at that * shitpit and celebrate with our 700 fans after their horde has * off home early, I think I might greet. Luv u, Ange.

I agree with this....I know I was one questioning why the * are we moving from Howe to this rando Aussie based out of Japan.

But after seeing reaction to him joining, his own interviews and the way he speaks...I want him to basically make a mockery of Scottish football and win everything in his first season and show up the arrogance that exists in the media...Will be glorious to celebrate winding up Scotland with the fact some * from Japan just trounced all of Scottish football and shown up the messiah in Gerrard as to how unsuccessful he truly was in his entire tenure here.
