I genuinely think that tonight was our equivilant of the MON team that won 3-1 in Amsterdam against Ajax. It was like that was the night our team back then went to the next level. I really think that result could do the same for us now in Europe under Rodgers.

Ye of little faith on here doubted our chances. I knew we'd come away with a positive result. So glad we followed through.

Long way to go yet, but it would be nice to think.
Still a little local business with Bayern to conduct.

It's a long shot but imagine if we actually pulled something out the bag against Bayern and got second place. I'd argue that it would be a bigger achievment than Seville.

Never managed to do this before. Curiosity always got the better of me.
Working a long day until 20.30 so made sure everyone on the ward knew I didn't want to know the scorre... patients n all! (Even the huns respected my request!)

Managed to get home and get my wee man to bed without him spilling the beans (I now realise we were 1-0 at that point so fair * to him for keeping it schtump!)

Managed to get a couple of beers and sit and enjoy the whole game... with no checking of talkceltic. And enjoy it * did!!!

Don't think we got out of maybe 4th gear to be to honest but we were smart. Squad, set-up, attitude we had the lot.

Taking the wee man to Hibs game at the weekend for his first time so that has set up the trip just lovley.

    Great win!! Chuffed!!

    A great win.

We were a little sloppy with possession at times, but overall that was a fine European performance.

I expected a lot more from Anderlecht, as champions of the alleged 8th strongest league in Europe; but they sat back and hoped to catch us on the break.

A win against them at Celtic Park and we should be good fro the Europa League.

And just to add a little perspective to our last game, I know it was in Paris, but PSG battered Bayern, and with better finishing could have scored 5 or 6.

I still can't believe it fella's a 3-0 win away in the champions league, I don't think I can remember ever watching us win an away game in the group stages before let alone keep a clean sheet!! I can't help it but I'm already imagining us sneaking a draw at Bayern and then Bringing them to Celtic Park to clinch the biggest result since barca and pip them to 2nd on head to head results.. or is the beer getting the better of me right now.. * it who cares! :party048:

Fantastic. Looked like a seasoned European outfit. Knew when to press, knew when to slow the game down and hit them on the break when required.

Everything about it suggested hours and hours of preparation
