Its a shame that a young woman has lost her life. But she lived a chaotic lifestyle and has been no more than a washed up junkie. The surprise is she has lived this long.

She had one decent album, yet the outpouring will be totally over the top, as usual with the British media and public.

Sadly she seemed to be glorified in the same media and publics eye. When if she was getting less publicity she might have toned her life down a bit.

    Sad, but there you go.

Bad news, feel bad for her family.

It was inevitable though, not shocked in the slightest.

    RIP :shamrock:

It'll always be the same. The reality of the situation is that before her death, she was constantly berated and mocked in the press for her addiction problems. They never left her alone and surely that can't have helped her. Now that she has died however, they need to take the moral high ground and pay all sorts of tributes to her, more so to make themselves look better than because they are genuinely sad about her untimely passing.

Total tragedy for this young woman and her family regardless of her fame and talent.

I think this was always going to be the outcome of her life due to her habitual crack cocaine and heroin addiction and the fact that she was constantly surrounded by so called friends who participated in these habits.

At the end of the day she is just another tragic statistic of this vile trade that affects thousands of families in every part of the world and hope her death stands to reach out to young people of the horrific outcome that taking these drugs can lead to.

    Sad state of affairs really.
    RIP :shamrock:

She did look terrible in that last video there. You could tell there was something wrong with the way she kept rubbing her arms etc, it's like she wasn't comfortable with what she was doing and why she was even there in the first place. Shame.

Vastly over rated musician, more famous for her junkie lifestyle than her 1 good album.

Keith Richards, for example, has taken more drugs than Winehouse has had hot dinners and still turns up for gigs and performs at the age of 67.

Complete waster and the people I feel sorry for are her loved ones having to live with an empty shell of a daughter/friend before she inevitably killed herself.

    RIP

No matter what addictions she may have had, no one deserves to die that young. I hope that people will leave her family alone to deal with their tragic loss.

My sincere thoughts to all of her family and may they only remember the good days.

    RIP

That's asking a lot in itself. All you will see over the papers in the next few days will be statements from the family, especially her dad Mitch. Sad really.
