Denver Broncos are really looking good, patriots are still class, even without my man Tom, they won't get as many touchdowns obviously, but i still doubt they will lose very many if any.

my pick for the superbowl is Denver, they just look great offensively, great drama against Sandy Eggo chargers.

From a Virginia paper a couple of days ago:

Brady is set to undergo season-ending surgery, leaving the Patriots with an enormous hole to fill. The Pats will ride on the arm of backup quarterback Matt Cassel, who took over the reins after Brady was taken into the locker room, and led the Patriots to a 20-17 win. Cassel didn't show much during the preseason, failing to throw a touchdown pass in any of his 17 drive attempts. But he ended his slump in the game, throwing for a touchdown and totaling 152 yards passing.


But the Patriots aren't the only organization affected by Brady's injury; his absence plays a large part throughout the league. With Brady's departure from the weekly roster, the NFL loses its poster child, the all-around good, clean-cut, wholehearted football star who wins football games. Tom Brady not only puts fans in the stands--he also gives the NFL a positive image.


Teams like the San Diego Chargers benefit from Brady's absence. Brady has led the Patriots to playoff victories two years in a row against the Chargers, and always manages to give them trouble. Brady received his 100th career victory last season with a win over San Diego in the AFC Championship game. With Tom Brady missing under center, the Charger mind-set can be a little more at ease this regular season--and if and when they make their playoff run.


The New York Jets and Buffalo Bills, two AFC East teams that would normally be looking to grab an AFC wildcard spot, will now have a legitimate chance to clinch the AFC East title. These two up-and-coming teams will face the Patriots twice over the course of the season in games that will prove to be essential to a post-season run.

Did I touch a nerve? I understand I was an *, but I think it's quite obvious that was just a quick-fire response towards someone who is clearly not very smart, college or no college.

As far as Tom Brady, I really hate him. I'm not afraid to admit that it is 100% jealousy, either. I can't say I'm happy to see him hurt, that's just mean, but I'm not exactly going to miss the hours of facetime he gets on all of our sports channels, either.
