Yeah but I bet he doesn't last longer than 30m in a match. NFL teams usually rotate DLs as it is.
That said, Vikings wtfpwnd. Also... I have to give recognition to Antoine Winfield. Got his 21st career interception and 10 tackles from CB (including TFL). That's * sexy for a cornerback.

7 tackles, 6 solo, 4.5 sacks, 4 TFL, is just outrageous though. It's one of the most dominating dline performances I've seen in a long time. And I don't get why you mentioned that he wouldn't last for 30 minutes, I don't know many, if any, d-linemen who could... that's hardly a knock against him. Even you admitted that all teams rotate anyways. He was in for most plays though and was a factor all the way to the last play.

I wasn't trying to knock him at all he had a ridiculously awesome performance.
Just saying NFL DLmen are built to play for short very intense spurts whereas football players are built for short marathons. I was referring back to the comments that we could use a player like that at Celtic.

Jets fan keeping quiet this week - all going well until a 99 yard pick back to the Jets Endzone. One minute we're 3rd and 1 on the Saints 4 yard line, staring at a 7-3 lead, next we're 0-10 down.

And if that wasnt bad enough, MS sacked on his own goal-line a few minutes later for another defensive Saints TD.

Still we'll destroy the Fagphins next week on MNF so 4-1 on the cards :icon_mrgreen:

Obviously it was tongue in cheek. Point being what a performance from a defender. It's not that often those words pass my lips. :50:

As I said I am trying to get into Football. Last nights game was the first time that I actually started shouting at the TV. Now if only the Twins can pump Detroit tonight. My new home cities overachieving may make up for my old cities pishy underachieving.:icon_mrgreen:

Ok then, you had me really confused for a bit. I agree completely, his body is built for American football right now, but a guy with natural agility like that at such a size, you have to wonder if he had trained for football his whole life and was down in size to like 220 or 230 whether or not he'd be a good target striker or center back or something. It's always made me wonder "what if" because in football it seems that if you are 6"4" or above, you're a slow and lumbering center back or target striker... but in American football and basketball you have wide receivers and, in rare cases, defensive ends, or small forwards, shooting guards, and point guards who are bigger than that and run 4.4-4.6 40 times and who are extremely agile.

Lol... you're embarrassing us. It reminds me of one time when I was doing my NCAA Basketball tournament bracket, some girl in my group picked all the teams from the criteria of which mascot she liked better. There were a lot of upsets that year and she ended up winning. It was really terrible.

had a look but i can't find any articles online just that he's "probable" so figured you would probably have a better idea than me. is cedric benson liable to start this week? don't want to start him only for him to sit out injured and i lose out on getting any points. specially when it'll probably be andre johnson i'd be benching for him.

The Vikings one is Bret Favre's face and the Jets one is in the shape of a "D" for their stellar defense.

    Cheers. :50:

Think the Jets one should have been in the shape of a W though. And that's not for wins. :icon_mrgreen:

The St. Louis and Tampa Bay ones are hilarious. The TB one is a little more subtle.

St Louis and Carolina are my favorites. I didn't get the TB one... I recognize it but can't place what it's from.
