FOX and CBS will have games during the day. NBC will have The Pittsburgh-San Diego game tonight. It all depends on where you are during the day as to who you'll be able to watch

Pats beat the Ravens. That game was on over here, it was one of the only entertaining early games.

Yeah... I got stuck with the Colts demolition of the Seahawks, which was kind of boring.

Being a Patriots fan, I'd watch it the entire game regardless. I did switch over to the Colts game for a few minutes just to see the score. Seattle isn't far behind St. Louis or Cleveland this year as far as bad teams go.

Thankfully my dad has the ticket, I usually go over to his house on Sunday and watch the games. I think I would go mad if I had to watch some of the games that are shown here. It's like watching the WC qualifying and having to sit through France vs the Faroes Islands when Ireland vs Italy is on, lol.

Seriously... growing up in Jacksonville I would have liked nothing more than to see the Jags curb-stomp the Titans 37-17 today... couldn't even find a * internet stream.

With how * the Steelers have been playing, its a * miracle they're only one game back behind the Ravens. I was about to kill myself last night.

The Charger defense was a disgrace. You should have blown us out of the water... I have no idea how we clawed back in that game. But I'd agree... you guys definitely have some serious late-game issues to iron out.

Does it ever get on anybody else's nerves when these fucktards at ESPN say * like "All World Left Guard Hutchinson" or "World Champions"

PS I thought Pittsburgh did alright. The blow out didn't hold up but I don't think anyone would say San Diego has a weak offense.

I really hate it... Even though its true it's not something to be proud of, nobody else plays it.

But it's not even technically true... they don't play anyone outside the country. They don't play in the Olympics. There is nothing international about NFL at all. It would be like England calling whoever won EPL "World Champions", not participating in CL or CWC, just because the sport started there.

Totally get what you're saying. And we should refrain from calling them "world champs". But there seriously isn't another team from any other country thats going to beat the super bowl champs at American Football, regardless of who that champ happens to be

Great game tonight. Vikings were awesome. Not that I claim to know too much about American Football but I am trying.

I watched it in a bar tonight with a 60(vikings)-40(cheeseheads) mix of fans. It really made for a great atmosphere. We could do with Allen as 1 of our Center halfs at Celtic :icon_mrgreen:. The guy was class.

Yea, I get what you're saying. Even if they are undisputedly the best team in the world, it doesn't make you a World Champ because that insinuates you've actually won a world-wide competition, which they haven't. I just don't see why they aren't content saying National Champions.

True but you don't hear Kerry or Kilkenny calling themselves world champions when the same applies. It is all just total arrogance really. Calling yourself world champions when the vast majority of the world neither plays the game nor cares is pretty pathetic really and smacks of an inferiority complex.

I'm more bothered by the implication that this is somehow an international sport that we dominate at. Which just isn't the case. I mean, we do dominate at it. And even if it was an international sport I'd be shocked if we didn't dominate as our olympic basketball and softball teams typically do... but I don't know, it just doesn't sit well with me. Maybe I've been over-exposed to the faux news "we have the best [everything] in America" type of Chinese propaganda throughout my life (my parents were big believers in those types of statements).

Or just THE Champions would work (as in thee, not thuh). I suspect "NC" has already been hijacked by the CFB community.

That guy's a * beast. 6'6", 270 lbs of pure annihilation and has the agility of a * ballerina. Insanity. He made the Packers' left side look like chumps all night long. You say haven't been watching that long, but let me tell you 4.5 sacks in a game really is mind-blowing, that'll be considered one of the performances of the year when they look back on it.
