This escaped me... but apparently Chad Johnson's name change was actually official. His name is now, legally, Chad Ocho Cinco. :56: Look at his wikipedia.

Chad Ocho Cinco - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

We could use a few more characters like this in assoc. football, just as long as they don't play for Celtic. :icon_mrgreen: I believe the term is locker room cancer.

i know the lions are pathetic but what the * was that first quarter all about?
another big game tonight for the cowboys, if we can get the win tonight (which really should happen) then got some good momentum going for the steelers game and pacman to come back, romo getting back to fitness, witten time to heal the ribs, felix back and williams more accustomed to romo and visa versa. looking good :icon_mrgreen:

ya, lion's suck. But they showed promise last season.. Hopefully Culpepper can bring 'em the change that they need. It seems to me that they have given up on winning..... true fans tho.

absolutely massive game tonight, make or break in the snow at pittsburgh. ware doubtful, barber out along with the long term injuries. if ware makes it and choice can pick up enough yardage to keep the pass viable then should pick up the win. win this and the play-offs all of a sudden look likely and i honestly think the team are capable of beating anyone on their day. win tonight and it could be vince lombardi no. 6 for the cowboys, lose tonight and the season is more or less finished. huge game!!

    * with the Jets ? A few weeks ago we are 8-3, and just beaten a Titans side that was undeafeated all season. At worst I'm thinking we're ok for an 11-5 season, into the play-offs at best maybe another crack at the Titans for the AFC game

Then we hit December, we was lucky the Bills (fumble recovery in 4th Qtr), crap against Denver, crap against Seattle* (see note below) and tonight against the Fagphins was just a string of shocking play calls. Favre 4 - time to retire I think mate, and yeh I was suckered into the merchandising business and wear my Favre 4 shirt every Sunday.

    * If anybody can exlain to me why when the Jets are 7 points down, at 4th and 3 on the Seattle 30 yard line early in the 4th Qtr the punt team comes on, then I'm all ears. A top offensive coach I am not, but hey 4th and 3 on the 30 lets go for it ? Or 45 yard field goal attempt ? If either doesnt happen, then loss of possesion on downs, ffs on their 30 yard line, but surely the offensive team have a 4th and 3 play inside the opponents half to call on (I had a pile of money on the Jets that week)

Your Raiders finished strongly as well. Maybe some hope for next year?

I'm now an Eagles fan until they get knocked out. :icon_mrgreen:

I really don't know. as Eire says, as long as Davis is there I doubt it. may be a 9-7 is possible next year. of course I wouldn't mind a positive surprise :icon_mrgreen:

I back the steelers with our swiss quarterback Röthlisberger! probably only for one game though... untill they get knocked out.

Sorry, but they come across like the new york yankees in baseball.

what are your tip for the winner? looks like the colts are fit for the playoffs

Big Ben is the most overrated QB in the game. And I'd settle for 8-8 from the 49ers next year, but Atlanta and Miami have given hope to supporters of all * teams.

Colts are a good shout but they have a big hurdle with the Chargers. San Diego finished in good form and on their day they can run over any team.

But I still think it's the Giants to repeat.

The Pats have my sympathy if it helps. :icon_mrgreen:

They'll bounce back once Brady returns, they're too good not to.

Personally, I think Pats fans can be extremely proud of their team this season. They lost out because another team lost a game, that shows you just how close they came to the play-offs without Tom Brady and several other key players.

People said the Pats without Brady would be nothing, obviously not.

I * hope the Steelers and Giants get their * handed to them at the weekend.

Steelers are the luckiest team in the NFL, how the * Big Ben can take a team as far as this is beyond me, lucky their defence is good.

I hate the Giants for two reasons, arrogant * and does Tom Coughlin ever smile? You've just won the Superbowl old man, enjoy yourself you *.
