He's got a lot of talent..

Seen someone post about his poor numbers on here but if you watch the reels of him, some of the sitters missed that he's laid on were criminal..

He's very silky. Got pace and goes by people with ease. Ball carrier. Nice left peg..

    I like him..

Celtic are interested in bringing FC Lausanne to the club after missing out on Mateusz Bogusz, sources have told Football Insider.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the Scottish champions have turned their attention to the 21-year-old midfielder to replace Matt O’Riley

The Portuguese central midfielder nearly made the move to Celtic in January but opted to continue his development at the Swiss club.

Sources say Lausanne value Sanches at £4 million and Brendan Rodgers’ side would be willing to meet their asking price.

Born in France to Portuguese parents, Sanches has represented Switzerland at Under-21 level, scoring three goals in six appearances

At club level, the youngster broke into the Lausanne first time in 2020 and has since scored 16 goals and provided seven assists in 89 appearances

Although primarily deployed as a central midfielder throughout his short career, Sanches is also capable of playing as a number ten, on the right wing, and as a striker.

Sanches isn’t the only midfielder the Glasgow giants are looking to bring in to replace Brighton’s O’Riley

I know we’re feeling bold, but absolutely no chance we sign the whole club.

Dunno. If McCowan rumours are true doubt we will sign anymore midfielders.

Its looking like your right and either way we won't sign Sanches. I guess we will find out for sure over the next 6 hours.

This has the feeling of one that we "explored" but "might revisit in january".

    If he is still there.

Personally we should be all over this. Hopefully are but you'd imagine it would break soon.

Wasn't this a January one we explored and are revisiting ? Or am I mixing up the names?

A solid plan considering how they keep telling us it's dead easy to sign players in January.

Sorry to bump this thread but I would be keen we do explore this one again in January as Sanches is having a great season in 21 games he has 9 goals and 3 assists so far and is only 21.

He has also played in a variety of roles from either wing, to attacking midfield and even as a second striker at times.

I know it is YouTube videos but this one here is pretty impressive.

He has a bit of everything you would want for someone playing those roles, he has good acceleration and looks lethal in transitions. He works hard off the ball to press and knick it back, and when he does he has a nice range of passing both lofted longer balls and killer throw balls to release someone or is a very capable ball carrier and dribbler to carry his team in to dangerous positions.

When also looking at his Fotmob stats he scores well for volume of possession regains in the final third, tackles won, chances created, successful dribbles, shots, goals and assists. The only things he doesn’t score well on are crosses and aerial duels but he is a decent height and has a wirey frame that he could fill out in to.

If he is still available for £3-4m he would be a good pick up and get minutes given he could play as one of our attacking midfielders, or on either wing.

Would be all over this as Hatate's eventual replacement.

Unlikely they'd sell in January without wanting him back for the rest of the season, could maybe loan him back for the final 6 months.

But with loan him back option, same with Miller.
Summer roles around and I'd assume Hatate and Holm may both leave.

Would give us mcgregor, bernardo, Engels, Mccowan, miller and Sanchez as a midfield 6 options.

Insane potential and level of depth that would be.
